  Uh, Ranchette ... I'm glad that you enjoyed my illustration, but I never said that was MY puppy. As a matter of fact if you go back and read a little closer you'll notice that I said: "My puppy, Friday, has NEVER gotten HIMSELF into this type of a situation!"

  Perhaps for your sake it would have been better worded this way: "Unlike numberless other mutts that I've known in my 30-plus years with the Postal Service, my puppy Friday has NEVER gotten HIMSELF into a situation like this one did."

  Actually, the drawing is one that I've had in my filing cabinet for probably close to 20 years now. I decided to scan it and upload it to my personal web site today, onto my "Humor" page. I picked it up one day at the facility I worked at. I think maybe one of the fellas I worked with drew it, I can't remember for sure now. The president of the Union there at the time was quite a cartoonist, very good with a pencil and a piece of paper ... so I tend to think that he drew it. Anyway, in my days as a mail carrier I've seen many a dog that needed such a stuffin' as that one in the illustration got. LOL.

  Yes I would, if the teacher was shown to be extraordinarily harsh with their students and in their discipline.

  You completely missed the point, Gopher. The point was whether or not the WTS is truly a false prophet, as based on the 1914 error. Regarding THAT point, I had said: “you [Gumby] call it a ‘false prophecy’. But I call it an adjustment in understanding.” To which Gumby replied, and I quote: "I" don't call it [the 1914 thing] a false prophecy nor does any other Apostate....the bible calls it a false prophecy.

  So, the discussion and comments centered around the 1914 thing and that alone … not just anything and everything that you can conjure up in order to take the focus off what the point really was in me having said what I did.

  What you're referring to as "major doctrinal changes" were actually quite MINOR when placed up beside the 1914 doctrine.

  It really depends on how you look at it. I don't think that the change regarding organ transplants….

  You apparently overlooked my previous comments. Note where I earlier said: “However, I was explaining things on the basis of how such a change will impact the WTS itself. No adjustment in the past will have impacted the WTS as much as the 1914 change will.”

  "I" don't call it a false prophecy nor does any other Apostate....the bible calls it a false prophecy.

  In the past there were Prophets in one sense of the word. The WTS, though a prophet, is not a prophet in the same sense as like Daniel was a Prophet. That’s something that an Apostate like yourself don’t have the will to accept. The WTS (being dedicated to do God’s will as it understands it to be) has served as a “prophet” in the sense that it has given it’s best efforts towards understanding the Bible and shared what it understood with the people of the world. The scripture which you imagine to apply to the WTS as a false prophet therefore has no relevance to the WTS, because the WTS is a prophet in the sense of being a teacher … not in the sense of being a Daniel-like Prophet. A teacher that makes a mistake is not a false teacher, it’s a true teacher that made a mistake. Or would you favor having any and all College teachers being fired from their jobs, simply on the basis of their having made some error?

  Vaccination changes,taking blood fractions,divorce over oral sex changes, organ transplants, etc,etc.
  These "CHANGES" cost people before them their lives, my superior! How "MINOR" is this to you?

  True, there is are casualties with almost every miscalculation. That is not a minor thing, and I recognize that. However, I was explaining things on the basis of how such a change will impact the WTS itself. No adjustment in the past will have impacted the WTS as much as the 1914 change will.

  And just what part of "in order to do a refining work" do you not comprehend? To drop such a long held belief (a highly significant belief), due to finally recognizing it to have been an erroneous concept, will be an adjustment like no other of the past.

  As to it having been a "false prophecy", that's simply what an apostate wishes to call it. The fact is, however, that the WTS considered what was taught to be what the Bible itself meant ... but failed to understand it correctly nonetheless. They taught what was construed to be an accurate understanding of the Scriptures. You call that a “prophecy”, but I call it sharing with others what is believed to be true regarding what the Bible itself said. When something such as this fails, you call it a "false prophecy”. But I call it an adjustment in understanding. That's the irony of a person that's fully asleep (meaning YOU) telling someone like me to "wake up" … although I am very, very sleepy and am definitely headed to bed this time.

  That is exactly what will happen as with all other major doctrinal changes.

  What you're referring to as "major doctrinal changes" were actually quite MINOR when placed up beside the 1914 doctrine. You need to realize that. For that reason there's not much of a chance that what can truly be called a MAJOR change will be forgotten at all.

  Ah, the 1914 doctrine. Compared to all other beliefs of the WTS ... now that IS A BIGGIE! Or I really should say, the MOST IMPORTANT adjustment the WTS needs to make. Oh what changes will follow that happening. Lots and lots of adjustments will be forthcoming. Exciting!!!

  No, to answer your question, when the "biggie" is dropped, and it will be discarded, I surely won't be severing ties with the WTS. Instead, THAT's when I'll be headed back to the meetings. Why? Well, of course it has something to do with my signature, below. I'll leave it for you to figure out how.
