13Parallel universes?
by sleepy ininteresting hozison programme on bbc2 last week about how new evidence is coming out that there may be parallel universes that are "needed " to explain our own.. once prominent physicist belives our universe "borrows" gravity from another universe.. but what really is happeing in physics , can it really tell us the truth about our universe?.
it seems that a lot of physics is philosophy.you think of an idea that could explain phenonoma and then see if you can make it work with mathamatics.. but as more and more complex theories are coming forward and are used to explain how the universe works it seems that any grasp on the truth of the matter is getting further and further away.when you start invocking parallel universes to explain things where do you stop?.
it seems that at least for now the universe is unexplainable.even without parellel universes you still cannot explain the origin of the universe , were it came from or why it is here.which ever way you go you get to a point in which you can never test or measure to see if you are right.. if there are parallel universes then do these need other universes to explain them?.

When you reach the end of the universe...
by speechless inthis thought often crosses my mind.... what happens when you reach the end of the universe?
if you believe god created the universe, then surely there is something more than the universe.
if anybody knows of any links to articles on the subject, please post.

why would he not have another name fitting his role as a man on earth?
he obviously wouldn't be living on earth as a child growing up as an angel.

Since you said that everything which was michael was put into the embryo that became jesus, when that body eventualy died, why would the spirit that was michael cease to exist?

Sorry, I said nothing of a "spirit" of which you speak.Can roman soldiers kill an angel? Isn't this what mt10:28 is talking about? Did god kill michael's spirit when the soldiers killed his body?
The body which those Roman soldiers killed was human, not spirit/angelic. Michael's life was transferred into the womb of Mary as a human embryo, not in the same form/body which he had in heaven. When on earth, God’s only begotten son existed as a human not an angel. (Is that repetitious enough?)Matthew 10:28 simply means that if some man imagines that he has forever eliminated another person by killing that person, he has another think coming ... but NOT because the person killed possessed something that survives death. The Almighty God gave that person life, not the man that took it, and no man can deprive another person of what God has given. So a killer is a fool for thinking that the person killed is gone forever, since God will return the victim to life.

If He "resurrected" us by bringing us into existence out of non existence, He would be doing exactly the same thing He did earlier. So, He would then also be creating a completely new person.
In other words you're saying that unless there is “continuity” (as you call it; something about the person that survives death) then God hasn’t the ability to reproduce the same person that had died. Such reasoning places limitations on God’s abilities. Besides, to do “exactly the same thing He did earlier” would result in the creation of the very same individual, since nothing was changed.Yadirf
