  I enjoyed the Left Behind books...I don't agree with them theologically, but I enjoyed them.

  The point of the article is off a little. If the Left Behind series involved Christians seeking out and beheading non-Christians, the point might be well taken.

  In defense of the books, if you read them, God gives people EVERY CHANCE IN THE WORLD to convert...world wide miracles, angels appearing, etc...those that end up in this pit CHOOSE not to be with God.

  Finally, this is all symbology..it represents that we as sinners seperate ourselves from God...I'm sure all this is lost on those of you with no religion, but to compare this with Radical Islam is intellectually dishonest.

  i knew he'ld been removed after my reinstatement (about 4 years ago) because he had expressed to dubs regret over the handling of my case, how i was treated, etc.

  so the big elder (po) who wanted me silenced and set up the whole jc and witnesses, had little elder removed.

  My "vacation" ruined.

  well, we were all set to leave this morning at 5 am on a nice long trip to indiana for a week long bible students convention, (yes, i consider that a vacation) and my 8 month old decided to have a 103 temperature, with the runs and puking all over.

  The division comes in defining "good" "bad" and "acceptable"

  I say abortion is bad, you say it's acceptable...there's not much middle ground.

  I think a tax cut is good, Kerry thinks raising taxes is good, where's the middle ground.

  what happened to the innocence and superior morality of moslems?

  interestingly, after a thorough search on http://english.aljazeera.net i could only find one reference to this, and al jazeera put a spin on the story to make it seem like "the amnesty report was aimed at defaming the government, distorting arab culture and driving a wedge between sudan's ethnic groups.

  It may not produce instant results, but it is how we won the cold war. The strategy was called Contain and Observe.

  In time it will work with Cuba too. Gradual change from within. Humans crave freedom and over time they will pursue it.

  No, the cold war was won because we outspent the Soviet Union...they knew they couldn't keep up...they tried, and it almost collapsed their economy. It might work in a highly industrialized nation...but not for a back water like Sudan.

  It will NOT work with Cuba, the Cuba phenomenom is personality driven...once Castro dies, the Cubans will get rid of the system.

  while the ties between iraq and al queda are tenuous, and i don't necessarily agree w/ the war in iraq, sadaam hussein was supporting terrorism.. he was paying the family's of suicide bombers in israel up to $25,000.00.

  is'nt this significant?

  No, it's clear now that the intelligence said there wasn't - it is the politicians who were the ones who said there was.

  You're either uniformed or dishonest, which is it. The 9-11 Commission CLEARLY makes the case that there were a LOT of connections between Iraq and AQ, what it says is there was no relationship between Iraq and AQ RE 9-11.

  "BUSH" is using this claim, no, the news media is, and it seems supported by the fact that a senior Bin Laden advisor turned himself in...in of all places...Iran.

  I agree, but Congress won't. Sudan has been a bad place for YEARS, but no one is noticing. However, you mentioned Yugoslavia as a place where intervention was deserved...On what grounds? The numbers killed there? Saddam's dead added up to far more than in the FRY states. And even with the FRY states being in Europe, it took the US to act there. I don't think the secret in Sudan is oil....or lack there of...because Sudan HAS oil...the issue is the continent..>AFRICA.
