  while the ties between iraq and al queda are tenuous, and i don't necessarily agree w/ the war in iraq, sadaam hussein was supporting terrorism.. he was paying the family's of suicide bombers in israel up to $25,000.00.

  is'nt this significant?

  No one talks about it. Why not? Why, or why is'nt it significant? discuss.

  I've discussed it several times on this board.

  I don't think it has anything to do with Sept 11 or WoMD which was what the Iraq war was supposed to be about.

  Wrong again, one of the reasons given for going to war was Saddam's suppport of terrorism. And once again, 9-11 WAS NEVER given as a reason for going to war.

  Not according to the 9-11 Commission. The 9-11 Commission, and US and British Intelligence both make the connection between Iraq and AQ, the 9-11 Commission just says that there was no connection between Iraq and 9-11.

  so often i hear that it's "out" to wear white sox.

  most people don't seem to wear white sox except me.

  I think they are okay with sandals.

  Be sure to wear black rim glasses with them

  oh and plaid shorts with a belt would do nicely.

  No dad blast it, it's part of the White Cultural Imperative that middle aged crackers wear BLACK almost knee length SOCKS with shorts and tennis shoes...plaid shorts are great...especially assessorized with a thin black belt...and set off with the horn rimmed glasses. SMOOCHES

  well, i've finally gone off the edge...after getting an aas degree in 2 years while working full time, i went and enrolled today to start working on a 4 year bs degree in engineering...i hope to get into the aerospace engineering masters program...heaven help me!!!.

  Help with Hornet's

  i am talking a 3to 4 ft hornet nest in a tree that if you make any movement near it they sworm by the thousands.

  how do you get rid of a nest that big?

  the nest is actually on the land next to me , only about 10ft from my polebarn , i know of the person that owns the land ,he has no home there just uses it for hunting.

  Have you thought about marching over there and loudly knocking on the hive and politely asking them to either leave you alone or leaving the neighborhood? You could use the hive as a punching bag to make your point of they don't listen.
