Awhile back I caught a Dr. Phil show where someone asked the same question. I think he said that it is not really whether you feel you can trust the person, but whether you can trust yourself to take that chance. Will you be able to handle it if the person violates your trust again? If you are reasonably assure that you will survive and go on, then go ahead and take the chance. If, on the other hand, you will experience a breakdown from which you will never recover or which will disable you severely, don't proceed. Hope this helps.

This is only the beginning. The bottom line is, to stay in this man's life, you will need to convert. I've seen this same scenario played out many times and you will either need to convert or keep your relationship secret or kiss the idea goodbye altogether. i recently got hold of the book the catholic answer to the jehovah's witnesses (louise d'angelo, maryheart catholic information center, meriden, connecticut, 1981).

it's a pretty critique of the jws in many parts, especially on the topic of "jws and false predictions".

with regard to "the generation of 1914" it said:.

had co visit this week...very interesting...about this dangerous world.

yesterday he revealed the meaning of ps 91. here are my notes on it if yer interested.. ps 91:1-3 - anyone dwelling in the secret place of the most high, will procure himself lodging under the very shadow of the almighty one.

i will say to jehovah "you are my refuge and my stronghold, my god in whom i trust".

I burst out laughing at this quote and could hardly continue:

Is this a new development? I've been out for awhile and first I hear you can vote and take parts of blood and now there is freedom?

Actually, Violet, the problem with the truth is really highlighted when you have a problem in the truth. As long as I was a single sister who kept to herself, went to meetings and went in service, all was cool. The moment I got married to an abusive brother I found out I was a non-entity to the elder body. Couldn't call the police, Jehovah's organization doesn't handle things that way. Don't separate unless you have some grounds. Couldn't do a lot of things that might have afforded me some protection. Freedom was slipping away and finding I did have some worth and that the 'worldly' people were the ones most likely to recognize it.

My Real Name & Future Plans & Stuff

when i finished my exit series, i stated that i would post my real name, the names of the various players, like the elders in the various series, and the names of the molesters.

- my real name, yes, but i will limit the names of others identified, except where there is public documentation regarding a couple of pedophiles out of the 5 i personally knew.

one of those is my son-in-law's dad ... the other grandfather of my grandchildren.. i am creating my own personal web site: i still own a domain, and have access to some free web space ... so i will get my picture and name and bio up.

Had a bit of insomnia last night and finally gave up and came online. For some reason, the JW sight was down momentarily so I wandered over to the freeminds site where I stumbled upon your 18 part series detailing your exit from the 'truth'.

I really enjoyed your writing style and the humor you injected into a story that I found fascinating in the wee hours of the morning. I am looking forward to visiting your site to learn more and to hopefully one day hear the radio broadcast which turned out to be the thread that led to your final ouster.

Very difficult position - Please help

i've found myself in a very difficult position.

with the .com bust and the recession i am having a very difficult time finding work.

i have lived on savings and unemployment insurance for quite some time now, but im going to run out of savings at the end of this month.

I'm not in your area but you might try the local community colleges and university. There are always posted notes and in some cases extensive computer generated listings on bulletin boards of broke college students looking to share a one-bedroom and even studio apartments.
