thats right...the most dangerous weapon that prob does exist is that of the ex jdub and the training that they recieved as a child turned against em...good post...I take pride in being one of those MANY voices...DEATH to the wtbts!

by zanex injust got back from an awesome weekend in san diego.
went to a conference work-related and had an fuckin great time..feels good to be back on the board tho..i think that this has been the longest i have gone without checkin or postin on the board.

A big "thank you" to everyone here
by Simon inin the past i have sometimes felt like i have to be the 'bad guy', so to speak, because i need to lock or delete topics, deactivate people, try and stop fights and such like - basically, telling people off and not being 'nice'.. well, apart from the odd heated debate and harsh word (and disruptive 'visit') i have not really had a great deal to do for the past month or two and it has been very nice - a pleasure to serve.. so ... i thought i should say a 'thank you' instead of a "stop it!

What kind of music do you listen to?

but in particular i would have to say jazz is my favorite, but not the watered down kenny g style of jazz.
i prefer the straight ahead, hard bop type of jazz.. lately i've been really getting into psychedelia rock.

shunning is their hallmark and what allows members to live in their hypnotic dream-like state, away from the evil informative apostates.. soon they will have to either change their baptism questions again, with the phrasing something like &"only by doing all the things jw in good standing do can we be considered as jw" blah blah blah.
they will then use that as a springboard to da or df members who don't attend meetings.. either that, or they will adopt another one of their stunning resolutions [8>]like they've resolved in the past.

a number of elders in the congregation say that i should hand it over to them as "i should not have it.
" the chief reason they give for their request is that the information therein (such as the chapters on judicial cases) is not for my consumption and would not be of any use to me as i'm not an elder in the same way a book on surgical technique would be of little use to me if i wasn't a practicing surgeon.. the claim is made that those who post confidential "to the body of elders" letters on the net are being dishonest - therefore they are not christians.

anger triggers...
by zanex inthis last week some of my mother's family (my gma, gpa, uncle etc) got in contact with me.
they are all non borg and have been anti borg for as long as i can remember but for years i treated them like shit because i was "trained to" but now when i talk to them and hear that they are just normal people with normal lives and i feel very guilty for the way i once treated them.
they dont hold me responsible for any of those actions and always tell me that i am family no matter what.

mulan: yah I try not to blame them but since i became a father myself I have some serious doubts as to their definition of "whats best for my kids" but we dont see much of each other so no biggie there. Its a good thing that we live 2 states away from each other.
billygoat: I have led a helluva wild life since the night of my df'ing it is just the absence of those opportunities that I could have become closer to my extended family that I get angry about. I take advantage of EVERY day that I have now and have been for a long time but still those triggers continue to get a reaction out of me. Its great fuel that anger but I'm sure it isnt very healthy. whatever dont kill me makes me a crazier person I guess LOL.
