by Moxy insomeone mentioned the jude quotation of the non-canonical book of enoch recently and i noticed the latest wt (9/15/01) article on enoch addressed this.
i also found a 98 reference to this which suggested that enoch was actually written after jude, a stance which they seem to have abondoned.
in fact, the whole thing seems like a very typical post-franz, 'we don't know, ok. stop asking us stupid questions' kind of response.

Talking about Enochs transference the writer says:

Well ok...that was pretty nice of God. After all, Enoch has been pretty faithful. But then the WT writer speculates with this load of tripe:
"So, what happened to Enoch? His being "transfererd so as not to see death" may mean that God put him in a prophetic trance and then terminated his life while he was in that state"
..Huh...whaa...In other words killed him. So God sees that Enoch is in mortal danger and out of concern for his faithful servant, kills him rather than let his (((RaBiD))) enemies do the job. Seriously, Whos getting the favours here...the (((RabID))) enenmies or Enoch...
You also notice that the rest of the article is complete bollocks too. I mean, anyone with half a brain can see Jude plagarized The uninspired book of Enoch.

therefore, according to dubs, the vast majority of believers can look forward to a resurrection on earth(bar 144,000).

It was that way once with Adam and Eve, and will be again. Why would God change his original plan they ask? Therefore, according to dubs, the vast majority of believers can look forward to a resurrection on earth(bar 144,000). There is only one small thing. One of the conditions of Gods original plan was that Adam and Eve were naked. Does this then mean that future inhabitants of Paradise will be Naked too. That they will all be running around, mowing lawn, trimming hedges, picking fruit, frolicking in the long grass... Naked? I find this hard to believe when you consider the current standard of dress at your local KH. But it was Gods original plan that man and woman be naked... again, why would God change that plan like the dubs say. It must be so. In the 'next system of things', just after Armageddon, all Dubs (just after they've finished cleaning up all those dead bodies) will get their gear off like God intended and Paradise will be turned into the biggest nudist colony anyone has ever seen. Wow, it will be just like a European episode of Big Brother...Gad damn!

Yes, your right Jan. They are moving them all the way to Nauru...(well they were until the injunction). And they are paying for everything. Could have just put them on Christmas Island. Christmas Island has said it can take another 500,,,albeit with difficulty. Why not move them to Darwin, it seems closer, and pay for everything there. Nauru is way over in the pacific
Well....apparently it might have something to do with the fact the refugees are being process by the UNHCR in Nauru, which has a lower approval rate for refugees than in OZ (maybe?). Australia does want to bring itself in line with UNHCR, which will mean it will be harder to get to get refugee approval. I dont know why they haven't done it already, then they could just move them to Australia and pay for everything here....yeah but good ol'Johnnie would rather stuff around with his SAS commandos and be an asshole to a ship that just needed our help.
He could have phoned NZ days ago too, and sorted all this stuff out, like Bob Brown has said. But he would just rather be an idiot and sent in the troops...This is a circus... and Howard is inept.

The government asked the Tampa to take them BACK to Indonesia ... the Tampa decided that Christmas Island was closer - regardless of their ability to take them on.
He only went to Christmas Island because he felt his crew was threatened by the refugees. He gets there and we send the SAS in...for gods sake.
Now John Howard is left looking like a dimwit because he's had to make a backdown from his tough stance. The refugees are off to NZ and Nauru. Why couldn't this have been done ages ago?
