If that was a mistake, please extend me the courtesy of a polite response to that affect. If you are no longer active in that activity (JW), please do the same. We want to make a polite effort to remove any such listings in the future. If the listing is correct, please let me know that briefly as well (including other family/household members who are JW's & Hams). Once again, please excuse us if we have included you in our lists inappropriately. Based on the responses, I will forward the information to the two brothers who are currently maintaining lists.   Old Friends from the hall invited us over to their house.....

  ok, so we get a call from some friends who looked up to us as "who to be like".

  we have been on the fade for, well, a long time now, which is quite a contrast because we were the never miss type.

  the last conversation i had with the husband he kind of opened up about how he was having trouble going anymore.

  whie its great to see another jw trying to think outside the box, beware of theocratic warfare. it may be a trap. it may only be dangerous if y'all have family that are "in" still, but if you don't then its ok to play along and see where it goes. only you know the situation and can tell if they are sincere. sometimes human contact person to person reveals true motives. good luck.

  WT Library Software

  yesterday, i installed the 2001 watchtower library software on my pc.

  suddenly i was not able to view any and all "apostate" sites i had just been to seconds earlier before installing the software, including this forum.

  having a gut feeling, i uninstalled the wt library software, and presto!

  CIRCUIT ASSEMBLY THIS WEEKEND.

  in my area of the world the 2 day circuit assembly will be held this weekend.

  i was wondering if anybody has attended this years assembly, or had any insight as to the message being delivered on sunday afternoon titled "don't look back...look to the future" (or something to that effect).

  i must speculate and wonder if the message of this enlightening discourse will be to forget all the past mistakes of the society, and concentrate on the paradise earth, and everything that is presented from now on by the society..... "don't grumble about minor adjustments made in god's organization friends, we have to remain steadfast in our support of those taking the lead as they humbly follow jehovah's spirit direction on matters".

  The WTBTS Fulfills Obligation To UN

  as we have all read, when the wtbts joined the un as a ngo, they agreed to "share the ideals of the un charter" and rediisseminate "information in order to increase public understanding of the pricipals, activities and acheivements of the united nations".

  the article below is the wtbts's way of showing their support and respect of the principles of the charter of the united nations and their commitment and means to conduct effective informations programmes with its constituents and to a broader audience about un activities.

  this article was published for that purpose, and millions of jw's unwittingly read and distributed this issue not having a clue what they were doing for the wtbts and the un itself.. to fulfill this obligation to the un, the wtbts published the following ariticle in the november 22, 1998 awake!
