My Trial Transcript Update
by Amazing1914 inmy trial testimony recently became available to me.
i will be carefully reviewing it in detail and then posting selected material from it.
when i say selected, i am removing certain personal things, technical discussion between attorneys and the court reporter or videographer, as well as any boring parts such as stating my name.

JW article written 5 years ago - who authored it?
by truthseeker ini became part of the internet community around 2000, and one of the first things i type into google's search engine was "jehovah's witnesses.
" i was presented with an amazing number of websites devoted to jehovah's witnesses.. i clicked on one site, which really led me to a posting on a bulletin board.
at that time, i was a believing dub.

Strange picture in this week's Watchtower on porneia?
by eyeslice inlink to picture: http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/file/7d83e711-da29-44aa-bde7-f74f9a3d79bd.ashx.
the following caption appeared opposite the paragraph porneia (quote: "porneia includes such acts as oral sex, anal sex, and masterbating another person") what can happen if we ignore warnings?.
now is it just me, but isn't the picture of the little boy trying to rescue his ball from out of a pond just a little weird?

The picture implies, in my opinion, that JWs are like children and they must heed the warnings of the "mother" aka the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society Inc.

Are You a Taker Not a Giver
by blondie inmany posting here once would not accept a blood transfusion or give blood because of the wts doctrine.. having left that doctrine behind and being willing to "accept" a blood transfusion, are you willing (if able medically) to donate blood?.
if willing to accept an organ transplant, are you willing (if medically able) to donate an organ, either as a live donor or when deceased?.
if yes, to both questions, do you donate blood regularly?
-

I signed my driver's permit to donate my organs upon my death. As for blood donation, I would love to do it. But I am an inactive JW, and I am fearful of getting caught donating blood and ending up df'd. It would devastate my family life.
If I could donate blood and be assured I could do it discretely without the remotest possibility of being spotted by a fellow Dub, I would certainly do it!
I'll have to look into it.

E-Watchman Has Sent NGO Letters to Over 5000 U.S. Congregations!
by Greenpalmtreestillmine ine-watchman has sent over 5000 letters to congregations in the u.s informing them of the ngo debacle and a similar one to 101 branches around the world.
and according to his guestbook post he has signed his real name to the letters!
great work and great news!

I am skeptical that e-watchman signed his own name. He may have much criticism for how the leadership of the WTS has developed some of its doctrines and certain blunders it has made in recent times, but I doubt he would ever risk being df'd from the Org.
Proof of this is that he refuses to identify himself on his own website, and I read on another post at this Forum that he concealed his true identity and address when he registered his domain. He doesn't like the spotlight and would rather remain in the darkness of anonimity.

Would You Return To The Organization If You Were Given Total Amnesty?
by minimus inif you knew that the policy was that there would be no more witchhunts, no more disfellowshippings or shunning of any kind, would you be tempted to go back?
-
stichione
Absolutely not. It would be like the dog returning to its own vomit.
