Watchtowers and Awakes Stopped coming!

when i was disfellowshipped, my mom kept getting me subscriptions to the w and a.. every time i moved, the papers would find me.. now, they are no longer mailing them out, citing cost.

too bad, my girl and i found them to be sources of endless amusement.

what great disaster threatens the world this week???

the repercussions of my argument with my mother on the phone the other week are starting to make themselves felt.

let me be clear: i've been disfellowshipped from the org for two years now.

i'm loving my freedom of thought.. so i was talking to my mom [still in the borg] and started expressing myself on various subjects on which i disagree, or at least see room for philosophical "wiggle room" with the society's viewpoints.

and offered me the new warcraft game, which i have been shamelessly breaking the tenth commandment over, if i would come to the meeting tomorrow.. i'm so enraged i can't think clearly.

i said i will never go to the meetings again and i mean it!

what the hell, she thinks she can bribe me back into dubdom?.

How to overthrow their belief?

my mother still believes.

she's made me mad enough that i want to disprove her religion, remorselessly and without fear.

i want to write a pamphlet, a long long letter, starting from every crack and cranny of russell's pyramidology to... well, basically i want to say jehovah's witnesses are wrong and here is why!.

so, jesus sits down one day and tells his disciples that he is going to return, and he compares it to a bridegroom coming home to ten virgins - five foolish and five discreet.. notwithstanding the difficulties inherent in finding ten virgins, not to mention the incredible question of what the hell a newly wed bridegroom needs ten of them for - what does this prophetic parable mean?.

what distinguished the two groups was that one of them had extra oil.

if everyone hates them so bad when they leave, do you know if they ever attempted to exact a temporal revenge for spiritual hurts?.

i remember the good old days back in the 80's, when i was but a tiny tot, and folks used to stand outside the convention with megaphones and shout and try to hand out apostate literature.. now that i'm older, it sounds like fun.

anybody do that kind of thing these days?.

<p>i jsut read over some comments by someone named you know.

he made a convincing case that the wt is going to suffer judgement for what they have done.

i still believe in jehovah, but not in the wt, and this makes sense to me.
