Why were no sea creatures destroyed in the flood?

all the animals on earth were destroyed in the flood of noahs day apart from those in the ark ,apparently no sea creatures were destroyed in the flood , why is that ?.

this is not an issue that only affects jehovahs witnesses , it is one that affects all beleivers that accept the bible as gods word.. obviously sea creatures were not put on the ark , no whales ,no dolphins , no fish , no krill , no plankton etc.

you can fill in the rest .. so my question is , why were land animals / birds singled out for destruction ?, what wrong did they do to deserve this judgement against them .

We have to exercise common sense with regards the flood of Noah's day:

Are you talking to us? Or religious people? Because "common sense" holds no sway with the religious.

We are not told the the entire earth was flooded. We are told that a "world" was. That world was the world (locale) in which Noah and other on the earth lived.

Keep in mind that God had not confused mankinds languages so there were no people anywhere else on the earth other than the locale (world) in which Noah lived.

Noah did not have the resources or time to travel great distances to gather all of the animals on the earth.

What was flooded was the locale in which Noah and the rest of evil mankind lived in those days. That was the only "world" there was.

Where did all of the water in the earth we see today come from?

And you know all of this how?

The really sad part is that no matter how one is reasoned with, they will defend the misleaders and their teachings rather than listen to God and the one He told us all to listen to.

The sad part is when people ignore the science and continue to defend a laundry list of impossibles and fanciful stories concocted by illiterate ancient goat herders. BTW- Why believe in god and Jesus, the persons mentioned in the same book that describes the Flood? Nullify one and you nullify the other.

It dosent make sense to flood the earth when you have billions of angels coild have easily handled matters.

It does in the context of the always-angry, hair-trigger tempered god, Jehovah.

Jehovah has always been interested solely in wreaking havoc over the widest swath possible... and not with whether it actually made sense or not.

i found an article on the dr. sears website about the benefits of breasfeeding.

according to the article it says: "a drop of breastmilk contains about one million white blood cells.

if the animal was already expired there was no need to bleed it.

Once an animal is dead, it is impossible to bleed it. Regardless, the Law clearly said the meat could be eaten.

'Anyone, whether native-born or alien, who eats anything found dead or torn by wild animals must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will be ceremonially unclean till evening; then he will be clean. 16 But if he does not wash his clothes and bathe himself, he will be held responsible.' --Lev. 17:15

"If an animal that you are allowed to eat dies, anyone who touches the carcass will be unclean till evening. 40Anyone who eats some of the carcass must wash his clothes, and he will be unclean till evening. Anyone who picks up the carcass must wash his clothes, and he will be unclean till evening." -- Lev. 11:39

marrow was not excluded from the Hebrew diet even though it contained the blood cells :

"Animal bone marrow was apparently used for food by the Israelites. (Compare Mic 3:2, 3.) It has a very high nutritional value, being rich in protein, fats, and iron. Jehovah’s banquet for all the peoples, therefore, fittingly includes symbolic "well-oiled dishes filled with marrow."—Isa 25:6." --Insight p 345

In addition it is not excluded from Jehovah's Witnesses medical treatment. They may accept a bone marrow transplant if they wish, even though it contains someone elses blood cells: Wt 84 5/15 p31

But you will never hear a JW praising Jesus.

If they do, this will result in the JW getting plastered with the "apostate" label faster than almost anything else (except questioning the GB).

JWs get noticably uncomfortable when a JW brother talks too much about Jesus.

In WT's view, the symbol for life is more important than life!

It's no different than argung that a wedding ring is more important than the marriage itself; and if one must choose one or the other, you save the ring and discard the marriage.

Incidentally, under the Law, a Jew could eat the unbled meat of an animal they found already dead. Why? Because, since the Jew did not take the animal's life, there was nothing to return to god (in symbol of pouring out the blood). No life taken= nothing to return to god= it was acceptable to eat the meat.

Does anyone give their life when donating blood? No!

No life was taken = nothing to return to god.

Even if a transfusion constituted "eating" blood (it does not), under the Law a JW could still accept a transfusion. But, JWs aren't under the Law (except when WT needs to digress in order to fabricate yet another nonsensical policy to bind JWs with, like the "two witness" rule). So WT's rule is absurd no matter how one looks at it.

im recalling a time when i sat and circled words in a watchtower article, indicating strongly the fact that it is in fact the writters opinion.. however just the suggestion in the sentence these words are ignored.. for example.

(this may offend some sincere 'christians'.

can you, as a human, stop yourself from breathing?.

i have always thought that one of the basic teachings of 'christianity' is the concept that we are "mere sinners"...riddled with guilt and not worthy of god or life...undeserved kindness has been shown to us etc.... but, we have no control over that, just as we have no control over breathing air!.
