  I don't know about what goes on behind closed doors in Bethel hasn got to do with it, by the way, you have just showed, in that statement,

  that 'secret talks' confidential things, are discussed and driven forward from behind closed doors.

  I'm sure there are a few other's here who will take apart the God being petty bit ( I hear them rushing forward like ravenous wolves, lol ).

  Are you confused ST ? about your beliefs, your spirituality, your life ? about religion etc ?

  You say your wife is still in, and you admire her, for 'sticking' with je-hovah. Well, if je-hovah, is not God, as it has been discussed and proven, and that particular translation originated in Germany ( I think), would not that concern you ?

  The lie, the deception, the trickery. that you and your wife support and worship an entity who is not whom you think to be ?

  I for sure wouldn't want to be involved in worshiping satan the devil. That is a big thing with jw's.

  Could be, jw's are brainwashed demon possessed slaves ? scary thought that actually, but it fits perfectly.

  Interestingly enough, when I was 'in', the amount of Catholic Bashing that went on was unreal.

  Yet WT is one and the very same thing, worse !! why, they claim to be the 'true' religion, blah blah.... same old .... representing god himself on earth, je-hovah himself.

  woooooh... think the 'real' God not gonna be too happy about all that, seeing as WT now been unmasked for the 'cult' that it truly is, and given that WT and jw's are very vocal about condemning everyone else, it now looks like they are going to be thrown into the pot with all the olther 'false religions'.

  Isn't that irony ? they have pre-judged and condemned themselves.

  Stillin - do you accept the truth about the use of the name je-hovah and that it is not actually God's name ?

  I know for a fact, a rural part of Ireland that has no growth, has never had any growth, for 20 yrs. It's all jw immigrants, shipped in.

  peace with my spiritual division with my wife continues to escape me.

  i really need someone to talk to to help me figure this out but my work schedule allows for so little time so i come here.

  Yeah, I kinda know how your feeling in life right now buddy, bit low and blue myself.

  You realise, all of a sudden, just how much you have been struggling along, for such a long time, and you wonder, how on earth did I / do I do it ?

  When you finally get to breaking point, as hard as it is, when you love your mate, but you know it is not, and never will work unless there are major changes, you are faced with a stark question.

  What am I going to do?

  Fortunately, you are at the edge of the 'fall' but you can decide what and how your going to handle it.

  It is hard, but to survive, you have to, sometimes put yourself first.

  Hope it get's better for you. I wasted/lost 20 yrs I can never get back. the last 10, well, just a nightmare, the last 3, totally mental, still not out of the woods yet.

  Put yourself first, stay healthy, stay fit, stay strong, stay in work and just take the wheel.

  (put you moral compass on hold, and lock up your conscience, lol.)

  Cannot, cannot, cannot get my head around prime.

  but then I remember, I was kinda like him not so long ago, drinking the cool aid,

  following along like a little brain washed pet lamb, defending the faith, the truth,

  lmao, how stupid and naive I was.

  Thank God for this site, and for all of the wonderful experienced former jw's who have beaten the path to freedom for us. thank you all. i hope now, in these modern times, all of your hard work and effort will be realised and you will be rewarded with results.

  The difference being, as soon as I started to put two and two together, thanks to you all, and became aware of the horrors of child abuse, and all of the other twisted, corrupted issues, that was it, I was horrified, and had to take a stand.

  I vividly recall an elderly 'sister' , whose own daughter (and others ) was abused in the congregation, I was horrified,

  When I mentioned about the Candace conti case, she said she looked it up, and the man behind it is an apostate ?? I was disgusted by her nonchalant attitude ( her hubby is a long term elder). The rest as they say is history.

  did Prime mention anything about the 2 witness rule ? that abused kids had no voice, cos of the 2 witness rule.

  Prime, I think shame on you, You have no idea whatsoever about child abuse or the damage it does. Heartless 'supposed to be' Christian.

  when i was young there was endless speculation about "the persecution".

  i have very clear memories as a child sitting in the old kingdom hall in coatbridge hearing it talked about from the platform.

  it was a frequent topic at home.. sometimes there was lurid detail about what sort of torture "they" might use against us to make us betray others.

  Jesus Christ how can anyone ever ever stand on beside paedo's and defend them ????? especially on a ex-jw forum, where there are lots of people who know all about pain suffering and abuse.

  Still in - I guess by your name you are literally still in then. associating with and dedicating your life to 'the cult of je-hovah aka Satan' cos you cannot slave for 2 masters. and if it isn't God the creator, as wt drums into us for years and years, it's satan.   Do you have children ? are you a parent, any G.kids ?

  Was you abused as a child ? Can you empathise with what they have and still do, and always will suffer ?

  Do you really believe wt and jw's are really founded on Biblical truth and true Christian principles, as set forth by the scriptures, that they have the 'truth' ?

  i've been reading coc and rf highlights that luke 21:28 says: "but as these things start to occur, raise yourselves erect and lift your heads up, because your deliverance is getting near.".

  i'm thinking on how no one who saw the start of these things is alive from 1914. as a comparison point, does anyone know when the wt suggests the last days started in the first century?.

  was it when jesus said the above?.

  ummmm .... according to 'the book' are we not now, living in the last days, and we are being stored up for judgement, based on how we live our lives, etc.

  Since 'man' killed jesus, what more would god have to do with them ? so it could be said that everything depends on Jesus as our mediator and saviour, on our behalf.

  WT pushes je-hovah as God, we now know this name is a lie, and as the jw tell us, your either for god or against God, one cannot slave for two masters. so they have already condemned themselves, unwittingly, because of the lie's surrounding the name.so theoretically, all jw's are actually worshipping satan. They have pushed Jesus into the background.

  The TWO '' Fields of Blood'' (source... www.jba.gr) .................The Journal of Biblical Accuracy

  There were TWO fields of blood.

  Matt 27 - ''agros'' a field, bought with the 30 pcs blood money, Chief Priests.

  Acts 1 - ''chorion'' a property, bought with money stolen from the money bag, by Judas.

  ''wages of iniquity'' '' wages of unrighteousness'' ill gotten money.

  There are two different pieces of land/property.

  different Greek words are used for each of them.

  This is lost in the English translation that translates both of these pieces as ''firld of blood''.

  the greek text makes it clear that only the piece of land referred to in Mtt could be characterised as a field. ''agros'' = field

  Acts - the Greek word is ''chorion'' that means ' a particular place, landed property, estate.'

  Therefore the priests and the elders bought a ''agros'' field. Judas bought a ''chorion''

  What the priests bought was called ''agros of blood''

  what Judas bought was called ''chorion of blood''

  And the two pieces of land are so called for different reasons.

  ''agros of blood'' so called as it was bought with the 30 pcs of silver 'blood money'

  ''chorion of blood'' that Judas bought was called like this because Judas committed suicide there.

  1. Different Buyers. Matt, priests. Acts, Judas

  2. Different Money. Mtt, 30 pcs blood money. Acts stolen money from money bag, by Judas. ''wages of iniquity''.

  3. Different Greek words. Priests ''agros'' field. Judas ''chorion'' property.

  4. Different reasons for their names.
