  i was part of a group in a town that despises education and sophisticstion.

  I mean no offense by the following observations. Your sentences meander so that the point of the sentence is lost. You have 3 paragraphs, indicating that the sentences within each paragraph are connected and support the same main point. They do not.

  I read the 3 paragraphs 3 times and still do follow what point you are attempting to make. Is it that you memorized word lists and therefore know the word "reciprocity"? Or that other people from your town are "dolts" and you are not? You don't even explain what is the "overly complex, impossible word." Help me out here.

  have a local needs on apostasy, have everyone shun you, have no shepherding calls since you left for over a year, and now a jc tomorrow evening????????.

  spoke to branch committee as well as co and they said to go and if we were treated unfairly then to call the co. don't get it.

  the co would have known about the local needs talk on apostasy and says if we were treated unfairly to call him.

  I cannot imagine wasting my energy with them. They are a bunch of liars already loaded for bear. And they had a special needs part about apostacy too? Umm hmm. What is the COs definition of "treated unfairly"? It is not the same as yours.

  You know the punch line is just waiting to be thrown on the table..."Do you believe that the FDS are appointed to the feed the sheep during the last days? Do you believe that this is Jehovah's organization? As if believing in a FDS illustration or believing in an organization is something.

  Ah yes, I understand, jam. For some months after leaving "the truth", and maybe it was a year or more, I still believed the Bible. But I had a nagging suspicion that the Bible was full of holes too. I just wasn't ready for that to crumble into pieces too.

  Sure enough, when I began to investigate the Bible like I had the WT, it fell apart too. I'm not mad. Just like you, I don't know any more and will be content to finish my days not knowing. I don't think that humans have the capability to know for sure. But, the abscence of evidence its enough for some.

  Running out of ideas, please help

  ok, i hate to admit this but, im running out of ideas of things to do to the local jaydubs.

  i mean yeah, knockin on their doors and showing up and taking books from the kh is fun and all, but kinda gettin stale.

  my next big one is gonna be at the next memorial, where im gonna wear a big wool jacket and top hat as i chug the wine and eat the bread, then stand up and yell "praise the lord im healed!

  Billy, that is pure genuis! Only don't make the name/address one of the elders. The elder body will get the letter sent to them from the Society anyway and realize it is a hoax.

  On second thought, make the name/address be the PO (coordinator). That will really put a spin on things.

  Har har for sure. If anyone accused me of being agnostic or atheist or humanist I would not take offense. I used to think that being atheist was hardcore. Now I see the atheist label as simply meaning that I don't know what god is and therefore can't claim it. I am likely more humanist than anything. I believe that humans are here doing their own thing for the very short amount of time that any one of us is given.

  Please anyone, comment on how long in months was the gap from being a JW nonbeliever to becoming a Bible or traditional god nonbeliever? I have forgotten how long for me. Maybe it was several months or a year? But the total disbelief followed closely behind the JW disbelief, something like the horsemen of the apocalypse.

  Magotan, Glad to hear that you are okay. Now you can start building a life of your own making. There are plenty of wonderful nonjudgmental people in "the world" that don't care one whit about a person's religion or sexual preferences. All the best to you.

  i'm so happy to have been able to sleep in yesterday and this morning!

  no fs and sunday meeting!

  every weekend i feel a huge relief and both hubby and i always look at each other and say "it's great not having to go to meeting huh?".

  Birthdays mean so little to me too. But maybe try THIS on your mom on your birthday. Treat her like it is HER birthday on your birthday. Then we she asks what this is all about, tell her that you are making yup for missed birthdays and wanted her to be the first one to have some fun from it.

  Duh? Was that actually said from the platform at the DC? Christendom is all about the resurrection hope based on the Ransom. It is JWs who minimize the ransom and underplay Jesus' role in their eternal hopes.

  A scary day in FS today

  today, the jw who normally comes and his son visited my house.

  we were talking on the doorstep for about ten or fifteen minutes when the son began to to faint.

  i saw it coming, but i couldn't reach him before he fell backwards, hitting his head on the brick landscaping border.

  Yikes. So sorry to hear that happened. Same thing happened to me once as a kid of 11 or 12 out in service on a hot summer day. The adult brother was making a return call and they were talking for several minutes. I was standing there all proper with tie and short sleeved shirt. I began to sweat and to feel dizzy even though it was not terribly hot. I tried to steady myself and to pay attention to what was being said. No use. The car was close by, so I was able to walk back a few steps and lean back on the car or I would surely have fallen. I leaned back on the car all wobbly kneed until we could get back in the car.

  Field service is not for kids.
