Why is the religious right in bed with Israel?

it always seems strange to me that the religious right in america and elsewhere is so 'in bed' with israel.. if you look at the history and beliefs, surely christianity has more in common with muslims who believe in christ (as a prophet) then in judaism which was the very religion that christ was rejecting and was killed by!.

surely for christians, the jews were "the bad guys" having rejected the messiah and forfeiting their position as gods chosen people?.

is it regularly invoked or was this just an attempt to charge him with anything and everything and possibly just ruin his reputation?.

I don't think Yeru was "boasting about taking away childrens father"
I think he gave a differing and relevant view on the original post.

I gathered that thanks. But either way my post stands...the effect of his actions would be accurate. I am not condemning Yeru - just questioning the system.
