It would seem that this sort of behavior would identify HIM as a member of the "evil slave."

by EndofMysteries incheck out the new jan 2015 study wt, article, they offer themselves willingly.
they give examples of young and middle age brothers and sisters who are selling their dream homes, uprooting their lives, etc, to move to help w/ building branches, etc, and how they know it's only temporary but not worried about what happens when they send them home.
they then say will you put jah to the test and see if he won't open the flood gates of blessings for you.

Terminology the Society Hates?
by toweragent inin my most recent talk, i got counseled for using some terms that were not prefered.
for example i said "new testament" rather than "the christian greek scriptures".
i also used the term "gospel", but even worse, i made reference to the "synoptic gospels" and the "gnostic gospel".. i guess i never thought of it before, but when i looked at the societies information on the matter they always say things like, "the so-called new testament..." or "the so-called synoptic gospels..." why with all the "so-called?".

So I'm going through a really difficult time right now.
by scaredtospeak ini was publicly reproved last year and the elders have taken their sweet time in reinstating my "privileges".
it's been six months and i can't answer at the meetings or participate in the theocratic ministry school.
in all honesty- i don't care about the privileges.

Sorry you're dealing with this. The control-freakery of the elders is really discouraging to someone that just wants to live their own life.
STS: my mom repeats the same hopeful attitude over and over- "keep an open mind". She went so far as to tell me to "stop taking in outside information" about the JW's.
Ask your mom, "So which is it mom? Should I, 'keep an open mind' or 'stop taking in outside information'?"

Wow, I used to like this part when it was 10-ish minutes because it afforded the oportunity to share the results from personal research and reflection.
Why is the GB cutting it down to only 2 minutes? I can hazard a guess: they don't trust even the elders to say something intelligent.
Let's review: It's a cult!
