  Promoting Hate & Shunning of their own people, how does Watchtower do it?

  watch as people become mind controlled to hate & kill their own people ....people they loved.

  propaganda from watchtower literature, convention battering accomplishes the same thing as seen on this clip.

  David Eagleman is an interesting guy. I recently read his book Incognito. He has some unusual ideas about personal identity, freewill and what we should do with criminals that cannot be rehabilitated.

  i'm sick and tired of everyone claiming to be "offended".

  if you are not politically correct, you will need to apologize for some perceived slight.. when i was an elder, i purposely avoided as much as i could, anybody that got easily offended.

  Ironically, I am convinced that WT/JW theology and culture encourage people to be easily offended.

  Marvin: It's sad irony that the same organization that admits there "is no more potent killer than isolation" then goes on to use isolation on its membership.

  I don't think it's ironic; I think it is very deliberate. The WT leadership absolutely knows what a powerful tool of manipulation ostracism and shunning is.

  They wield it as a weapon.

  too often they do not get the honor they deserve.

  in this country once they come home their sacrifice and heroism is too quickly forgotten.

  so i've mentioned this friend of my husband's who started writing to me out of the blue about three years ago, decades after we d'aed.

  last august i wrote to her about the arc and jackson's summons.

  i gave her the website details so she could see for herself.

  Agreed. There is a certain amount of cowardice involved in remaining in a religion that is so obviously corrupt.

  JWs have more good points than bad

  1) many who were on the destructive path have been transformed by their teachings (this includes me who was once vicious, and presumptuous and atheistic).

  2) equal monthly pay to all members of the bethel community regardless of whether they are bc members or sweepers.

  this is something that still remains as an unattainable dream for the world.
