I just found out about this place about two month ago, but I started posting threads only about 10 days ago. This a fun place to say whatever we want, as long as we respect one another. Glad to have you all as friends!

Are you happy at 100 pounds? Most people are over weight, so be happy to be a little under weight. Try to gain about 5 pounds, and see if you feel good at that weight. If everyone in your family is thin, there is not much you can do about it. Some people just look at food and gain 10 pounds. While some people burn all the energy they have and never gain weight. Don't worry, be happy !

in a thread yesterday some stated that the first attack on the world trade center was on the anniversary of the fall of iraq?

The US is a superpower with many enemies. All it's enemies were most probably celebrating on sept. 11th. It is possible that someone did the job for Iraq. If it is not Iraq, then the US has another enemy to deal with. (Terrorism)

Should America Start Closing the Borders?

my hubby & i had a debate tonight, so i'm kinda taking a poll..... my hubby says we should stop immigrations and start closing up the borders - except in cases of political asylum or a family member.

This is a free country, and thats what makes this place great. But in a time of trouble for external sources, the gouvernment has to take harsh actions to stop infiltrators with weapons of mass distruction. Difficult question to answer, but the borders have to stay open for trade at least.

but now a days, we know much more people on the internet, than real live people in front of us.

Too bad you don't have the friends that you surely deserve. I noticed that nice people often have less friends than arrogant un loving people. Why is that? I think people make friends with others who ressemble them, even if they are evil.

I was relatively devout at first, but I realised that I never gave enough to please them. They were always asking for more and more. Thats when I realised that I could never do enough for them. I somehow knew that they would turn against me some day, if ever I slowed down too much. I always put more importance in love, rather than knowledge or performance. The WT society, wants you to be productive, and talk alot, and bring the most people to the hall. I felt that Jesus put more emphasis on love and helping people in need, than going door to door pesting people. So I became less devout for the Watchtower but more devout for God, helping people in need.

Years ago, everybody seemed to talk to their neighbors, and knew just about everything about them, where they work, knew alot about them. But now a days, we know much more people on the internet, than real live people in front of us. We are a generation of computer addicts. Is it because it is hard to make real friends, that we turn to cyber friends instead? Is it so hard to make real friends in these times and ages? Just the fact that we are writting to each other like this on this forum, shows that we need human relations, and friendship. How many real friends do you have, that you could count on, if ever you were passing a rough time?

Wasted Time
by JH indo you feel as if you spend too much time on the computer.
only 10 years old, and it changed the life style of many.
spending so much time on the computer surfing here and there, do you feel as if your actually are wasting your precious time?

Yes, I do enjoy it also, but do you think your missing out on something, like taking a walk, or being outside taking fresh air rather than be in front of this computer screen 5 or 6 hours a day. Time passes so fast in front of the computer. Even my cat finds I'm spending too much time in front of the computer. She lets me know by meowling all she can until I give her a little attention. I finally give in and shut the computer and take care of my cat like she wants.
