IF YOU ARE SEARCHING FOR HELP TO RETURN TO THE MEETINGS, WHY DON'T THE ELDERS HELP YOU? MAYBE THEY ARE NOT DOING THEIR JOB. MAYBE THEY HAVE NO LOVE FOR YOU, LIKE THEY HAVE NO LOVE FOR MANY.

instead the people i have talked to her are all trying to tell me too see the light and get out of the organization.
in my opinion, not that it matters, i really think that if a person had the truth deeply ingrained in them, they would never leave the truth.

Yes, I believe in God. In a God that lets people suffer, lets wars go on, lets religions destroy each other. I believe in him, but I don't understand why he doesn't use his almighty power to make things OK. Why must thousands of years go by without him saying a word to us. OK, he sent his son to save us. But that was 2000 years ago and nothing changed. On top of that his organization is corrupt.

In my case, I didn't leave Jehovah, it's the other way around. Same thing with the org. They let me drift away without reaching out to me.

jesus promised to give anything to them that asked.

I know many unhappy, sick, poor people who pray constantly for relief, and NOTHING.
I know bums, tramps, evil people who have all in life. Did they pray? NO
So does praying work? NO
If you pray to thank God for something, Ok he will listen, but don't ask for anything, you will not get it. It's sad, but thats that.

a handfull in the congregation greated me when i came in.
since it was the watchtower study, i needed a watchtower magazine to follow, but nobody had a copy for me.

Since it was the Watchtower study, I needed a Watchtower magazine to follow, but nobody had a copy for me. I asked at least 20 people if they had a spare Watchtower magazine, but not one had an extra copy. I couldn't believe how things changed in the fews years I didn't go. When I was active from 1987 to 1992, there was plenty of copies. They had plenty of copies on the counter in the back incase some studies would show up. I couldn't believe how cheap they got and how much they were trying to save. When I saw how I was greeted, I never went back. They didn't even feel bad that there was no copy of the watchtower left for me. They should stop going door to door, if they don't have enough literature for everyone.

Internet banned?
by gilwarrior ini know that this subject has been talked about many times, but i am convinced that if the wts gets more fanatical, they will eventually ban witnesses from going on the internet.
yeah, i know it sounds goofy, but there are so many witnesses who are leaving as a result of what they have found on the net that the wts will have no choice, but to do it.
they will probably find some "new light" and probably sight some bible scripture.

Even if they tell the dubs not to go on internet, they will not listen. Internet is here to stay, and no matter what they say, they can't stop them from going on internet. The Watchtower has a big problem on their hands. Information is now circulating freely, and the truth is getting out, thanks to the internet.

Help with my camera...anybody?
by Lost Diamond ini just bought a sharp compact digital viewcam, and i cant get it to transfer the pictures onto my computer.
i am not too computer savy, so that is part of the problem.
i've gone over and over the manual, but i still can't get it to transfer!

You have to find a place where it says UNLOAD CAMERA. You must have a new icon on your desktop. Click on it to unload your camera. Your camera must be on and in position PC to be able to download pictures to your hard disc. Like below
