Did you see all the question they ask, prior to joining? HORRIBLE
You better not say anything against the org. or they will send your comment to your local congregation.
I'm not interested in their stupid site.
yeah?
the dog.
as our community continues to grow, the jwotw is committed to provide a clean environment for jehovah's witnesses online to associate with one another.

do you know people in your congregation, who seem so strong spiritually, that it seems impossible for them to quit or even slow down?
i've seen many come and go, but some are like pillars, and nothing seems to slow them down.
often i wonder, who will be next to get df'd or who will slow down next.

All the weak ones in my congregation seem to have quit or slowed down alot, and just the pillars are left. Usually these pillars as I call them, were there from the start. I wonder if even pillars can fall?
when i look back on my years as a jw, i cant believe how i accepted so many of their teachings without proof.
as i think about it now, i sometimes really feel like a dumb ass.
i was watching a video of our ministry school from a few years ago and there is no way in hell i could sit and listen to that bull anymore.. when they say the faithful slave, my stomach turns.
The last time I went to a meeting, about 1 year ago, I noticed how they all were like little robots, who couldn't think for themselves. Thats the way I was, when I joined, but today, I couldn't do that anymore. I would have a hard time going back, with what I know today.
it's the memorial, and just in case you might be doing something, i thought i'd let you know where you're supposed to be.
You can calculate the memorial date for any year with this

Thank-you, my secretary(blondie). If someone wants to speak to me, tell them I'm taking a nap for the next 6000 years.
just so you know where i am coming from, a little background: my wife's father, bill, is 78. he has been a witness for almost 50 years, was an elder, is of the anointed and used to know a few people from way back when (including a couple from the gb).
if anything, he began to drink more.
yet more than once, he has gone behind my back and gotten a drink(s).
What gets me angry is that he was a witness for nearly 50 years, and served as an elder, and now they treat him like shit. All they can do is go to meetings and knock on doors and give advice to others, while themselves don't give a damn about their own people. Why can't they take care of the elderly in the congregation, and encourage him.
when my mom was studying, the sisters went out of their way to love on her, and to help her out.
she was a single mom back then.
one of the biggest things they did was babysit for her, while she had to go out and work.
After baptism, you are on your own. You better produce for the watchtowa or else. It is as if you become their property. I knew a person studying with the j'hovas, and he was without work, and had no car. So they came and got him every day and shared work with him in the cleaning business. He was not baptized yet. At the same time, I was a brother since 5 years, and I just happened to lose my job in a paper mill and no one shared work with me. That got me extremely mad to see how they showed love for the unbaptized, and didn't care about me.
.
the number of anointed is virtually unchanged,.
over the past 14 years.
I don't know the number of anointed, but I know the number of disappointed.....
