  Why does the WTS say Jehovah will Judge?

  why does wts keep printing in their literature that jehovah will judge when in the gosple of john it clearly states that christ will judge, and that judging was given to the son by the father?

  "for the father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the son," john 5:22

  I think that they put the emphasis on Jehovah on everything instead of Jesus. In many areas, they don't give Jesus much importance.

  As a witness, we can't even say thank you to Jesus for anything. It is as if we are shunning Jesus.

  Will they ever say "Peace and Security"?

  with all the trouble around the world, do you think that one day we will hear "peace and security".

  we heard this so often when we were in the jw's, but no one knew how it could happen.

  i don't see any peace in the horizon.

  With all the trouble around the world, do you think that one day we will hear "Peace and Security". We heard this so often when we were in the JW's, but no one knew how it could happen. I don't see any peace in the horizon. All I see is trouble spots all around the world.

  But, If "Peace and Security" came about suddenly and unexpectedly, would this frighten you?

  I will answer this question like a faithful Jehovah Witness.

  Adam and Eve are responsible, and soon a New World will replace this old one.

  So we can blame all our problems on Adam and Eve, and we can put all our hopes in the Kingdom.

  do you think that every possible topic has been covered?

  do you have a hard time finding new topics to talk about, or is it easy for you to think about a new topic every day?.

  Since new people join every day, I don't get tired of hearing a similar topic that I heard before, because it comes from different people, and it is expressed in different ways. Even if topics come back often, new people bring us their valuable experience, and this makes it educational.

  i find it extremely amusing how each year is passing without armageddon.

  "for the year 2000, i visualize a world transformed into a beautiful paradise!

  but i don't think that either the present world or its rulers will live to see that day.. we are living in the last days of the system of things.

  They will say that Armageddon was invisible, just like Jesus's presence in 1914

  In 1990, a brother gave a speech, at a district convention. He said, "Brothers, the end is less than 10 years away, so keep on serving Jehovah".......

  He was wrong. I took a couple of days off from work, just to be told lies.

  They love to scare people, and it works.

  They should bring people to Jehovah with LOVE not by SCARING people.

  as reported on sky news, this from the pm's news conference some 45 minutes ago:blair firm on iraqthe prime minister says he passionately believes saddam hussein must be disarmed of weapons of mass destruction.

  he said britain must show rogue states "that when we say we intend to deal with the issue of weapons of mass destruction, we mean it".

  mr blair, giving his monthly downing street news conference, said there was still time for the iraqi dictator to give up his weapons programmes.. but if he did not, he would have to be disarmed by force.. "i know and understand the concerns that people have," mr blair said.

  I taught that the war in Iraq would start in early 2003, like february. But listening to the news, it varies so much from one day to another. Last week I heard that they would maybe fight in the summer at night only, because in the day it's too hot. Then I heard, it has to be in the winter time, like now.

  This morning, I read that Turkey has changed their plans of oppening up a second front on the Iraq war.

  There seems to be a lack of harmony in the war plans, lots of hesitations.

  North Korea has over 1 million soldiers poised at the border with South Korea. They could invade the south very quickly. The US wants to negociate because if war broke out, the north would win a quick victory with many casualties. Surely with time the US would win, but not at first. Thats why they want to negociate. North Korea is also different from Iraq. They seem to have nothing to lose, since their economy is dead. They also know that they are on the evil axis list. They know that they could be next to be invaded, after Iraq. The situation is more volatile, and dangerous there. Some wars don't cost too many american lives, but this one would cost many tens of thousands of lives. Not pretty.
