I had a melt down with my Father over my Mom and Sister not coming to my daughter's Birthday Party.
by adjusted knowledge inlast year my daughter had her first birthday and all my wife's family and friends were there.
my family didn't attend.
my mother and sister still believe in the jw teachings even though they are both considered inactive.

You don't realize it if you grow up without it, but denying birthdays is a way of denying the self. It denies the self as a legitimate, independent person. Not having birthdays borgifiizes one into the collective. -

Recent incident with lion and JW Governing Body member in Africa
by JWchange ini dont know if you are aware but i was informed recently that jw governing body member tony pants morris was in a safari park in africa.
he stumbled across a skinny hungry looking lioness with cubs nearby.
not seeing a way to escape, he got on his knees and started praying, pleading for help.

Actually, he probably does wear leopard skin undies under his oh so conservative suits.
Yeah, I think he's the type.

So, when you say tight leopard skin pants, do you mean that in the American way, as in trousers, or in the UK sense of underpants?
Because, ewww!

I got up yesterday morning (Saturday) and enjoyed the watchtower work
by Zoos inreaching the fire watchtower on top of wayah bald overlooking the smokey mountains can be a difficult hike from nantahala lake up the bartram and appalachian trails where they straddle each other passing through this area.
the most enjoyable watchtower work i've ever participated in.. the views from the tower are spectacular.. .
looking across nantahala forest to the smoky mountains, described poetically as the most elevated peak; from whence i beheld with rapture and astonishment, a sublimely awful scene of power and magnificence, a world of mountains piled upon mountains.

Thanks, Lisa Rose. I believe it. I guess I need to review what codependency is. Is it a need to be associated with something because it provides some benefits that meet their needs even though there are negative consequences?

Most people wear a reasonable amount of scent, but some folks just keep on dousing that perfume until it's overwhelming. Even if people are not allergic, you are still offensive.
A little goes a long way.

We drove west passed the Appalachian trail and continued on to Cumberland, Maryland. The Western Maryland Railroad has a scenic leaf peeper steam train trip to Frostburg. The foliage was glorious.
Instead of riding the train this time, we chased it. We would race ahead to the next crossing ( they actually give you a map) and my son would quickly set up his tripod camera and take video of the old steamer winding through the mountains.
They stopped at Frostburg and we watched the engine turn around on the turntable and then had a little lunch while we waited for the train to leave. Then, we raced the train back down the mountain grabbing photos and video at the crossings again.
My son has his own youtube channel where he posts various trains that we have "railfanned." He's got a few followers and likes to put up a new video every month. That keeps us busy! Today's trip was 2 hours and three quarters one way. It was a long day and we blew a lot of gas, but this is what my son does. He doesn't play sports or march in the band. He chases trains!

Yes, but it's the overlayering of it that is the problem. You're wearing scented soap or bodywash, scented shampoo, scented body lotion, scented clothing from laundry detergent and then spray perfume on top of all of that? It's enough to gag you.
I use unscented soap and skip the scented body lotion because my skin is always oily anyway. I do use Dove shampoo, but I never use perfume.
I use unscented laundry detergent for my son who has very sensitive skin and mildly scented detergent for my own and my husband's clothes. I do not use either fabric softener or dryer sheets.
And I think we smell pretty enough. Any more and it would be overkill and make us rashy or headachey or nauseous. Surely other people have these sensitivities too.
And truly, it does seem that fewer and fewer people are wearing perfume or cologne like they used to.

Islam is the Epitome of Misogyny
by cofty inin this video the popular saudi cleric sheik yahya al-jana discusses the joys of paradise, saying that men will have the strength of a hundred men in paradise and will be busy tearing hymens, while the virgins of paradise, whose breasts are like pomegranates, become virgins every time again.. the cleric also explains it is mostly men who enter paradise noting that women in general are bad because they refuse to wear the veil, they wear tight clothes in shopping malls, put on perfume and jewelry, and use filthy social media platforms.
source.... this is what young men from conservative muslim families are raised on.
is it any wonder islamic countries treat women appallingly?.

What kind of immature parenting is that? 'Don't do it because it will hurt my feelings.'
Your hurt feelings are kind of your own problem, Mom!
