Need Help! JW Grandmother (may be) Going to Court for Visitation

i am hoping someone may be able to give me some guidance on behalf of my son.

my ex-wife, who remains a jw, is threatening to go to court to get visitation with our 5 year old grandchild.

she had regular visits with our grandchild, but when my son (no longer a jw) and his wife (never a jw) found out that his mother was teaching their daughter the jw religion without their permission and even telling our grandchild not to tell their parents... well to say the least, that was a game-changer.

Unsupervised visits with my (non-JW) in-laws ended when they were caught taking our 6-yr old son on day-trips etc with the granddaughter who yelled at him in a restaurant and then cyberbullied him online and was caught. We had forbid the girl from being around our son again, but apparently the Mother-in-law didn't think she had to abide by our rules. She was wrong. She sees our son about once every 5 months supervised by my wife. NEVER alone anymore. She's not happy from what I hear. (I haven't seen my in-laws in years cause they are assholes) I hear she's depressed because our family are like strangers to them. Oh well....with treatment like what they were dishing out, who needs them? Not us.

Horrible Bosses

i just heard this a few minutes ago by a jw friend who is still an elder in my old hall.

the kingdom hall i used to attend and my mom still attends was paid off many years ago and serves about 6 congregations.

one of the english congregations has a lot of financially well of members.

Yeah, just imagine......you are an Elder going thru this. You come home, and relate to your wife how the WT Org and C.O. have just demanded that the BOE send in another $70K of the Congregations money from a PRIVATE savings account, that had nothing to do officially with the WT Org. Instead of your wife being flabbergasted, and on your side, she instead looks at you sheepishly and goes, "Yes dear, you are to do whatever the Society instructs you to do...." - or some such bullsh*t. Then, if you push the subject, your wife threatens to leave and divorce you on grounds of you being a spiritual danger!!!! So basically, your wife isn't your wife, she's the WT Org's wife. The Org comes 1st, and you are a distant 2nd at best. I bet those poor Elders are ready to either 1.) shoot themselves or 2.) shoot the C.O. for causing such "divisions".

This is an incredible account. Do we know where and which Congregation this is? It's just an amazing money grab of enormous proportions. What a fleecing of the flock.

So let me get this straight? They're not going to give this cars to needy members who may actually need them, because after all they were bought with DONATED MEMBER FUNDS.........oh no........they are going to SELL these vehicles back to the very people that donated the funds to begin with? A double-dip, yes?

The WT can SHOVE their sh*tty used up Buick LaCrosses and lesser Chevy Impalas. Those vehicles are CRAP anyway. What a joke.....a sad, sad, joke on the members.

Money-grubbing bastards! It's experiences like THIS that show me that God has long stopped being behind this "Organization", if he ever had been to begin with. (Probably not, what with all the pyramidology and convoluted BS)

What I find amazing, is that after the first $100,000 was "Donated" to the Org, that the members were actually gullible enough to start saving up AGAIN. If I'd have been in that Congregation and that had happened and we were then denied that major remodel, there is no way in hell I'd donate another cent to anything. That would have been IT!!!! But these poor gullible saps actually started saving up AGAIN? Just to have it demanded by Mother Org? And the Elder's wives and a few other members are still loyal to these crooks? That is some effective brainwashing & conditioning right there! Keep 'em coming back for more abuse!

Can you even imagine how those Elders must have felt, after the CO demanded they send in the next $70K that the Congregation had saved up? I mean, can you imagine having to sheepishly tell the flock that the CO and/or WT has demanded the rest of their hard-earned saved money? I wouldn't have done it. I would have withdrawn the money, given it back to the people who donated it with the accounting records I had, closed the account, told the CO to f*ck himself, and immediately resigned as Elder, and walked out of the KH never to return. What are they gonna do? For giving back the people's money from a private account that they themselves donated?

F*ck the money-grubbing WT Corporation.......and make no mistake about it; that's what this farce of a religion is - a CORPORATION.

the chain started opening stores in the st. louis, mo area about a month ago.

by now the bugs should be worked out.

Panera or Atlanta Bread is much better. I've been in many a Tim Horton's in Canada though, and I've never had any problems like that, or else I would have never gone bac.

earlier this week i bumped into a couple of jws who i recognised from the cult cart.

a few months ago i had a long conversation with him one of them and found him to be quite friendly.

he is new to the area in the years since i left.. this time he was very defensive and said he wasn't allowed to talk to me.

JW Broadcasting is dying.

once a month about 15 to 20 elderly jw publishers would meet at the kingdom hall and one elder was assigned to set up the system so they could view jw broadcasting.

these publishers were long time pioneers, former elders, and long time publishers who know nothing about computers or the internet.

they are the last batch of those expecting the generation that saw 1914 or understood it--- to not die off.

Give the Elderly ones a good dressing down and guilt trip, then turn around in the next breath and ask them to cook expensive meals for the holier-than-thou Pioneers? F*ck those condescending asshats! That would be the last time I'd ever set foot in a Kingdom Hall if I were those older ones.
