  Terry O'Brian gave the special talk in Australia + NZ????? You would have thought after his outright lying and performance at the ARC, that ol' Terry would have been banished to a remote Congregation in Bora-Bora, or possibly Siberia, not given the "Privilege" of giving a very public Special Talk?

  The strange case of Gerrit Losch

  one of the recent molest cases had a signed declaration of gerrit losch, stating he has no relation with watchtower and that he has no control over watchtower and he does not answer to watchtower.. this month he is hosting the watchtower broadcasting show, on a watchtower media chanel, with a watchtower president starring as co-host, with statements, media and music that have intellectual ownership and copyright by watchtower.. gerrit is asking on broadcasting for respect for “the slave”, just like jehova and jesus respect “the slave” and will even reward them.. are the writers of the statement too stupid to see the correlation between teaching and practicing?.

  these man are proven liars.. how can hold this firewall stand?

  it’s so thin.. a judge can see this mismach isn’t it??.

  Ok, I know I'm gonna get burned on this one.......BUT.........

  What authority does WatchTower have over Gerrit? ZERO!! He's a grown man. He could pack his stuff up, and move on out any time he wants! No one in WT HQ is forcing him to remain there. Now, I'm not saying HE doesn't have authority there (he obviously does), but I don't see the issue with the statement he signed. In his mind, he only answers to (2) higher powers: 1.) Jesus 2.) Jehovah God That's it! An earthly organization is just that, and he doesn't answer to them. Pretty hypocritical that the rest of JW's are to respect the WT Org as divine authority though, wouldn't you say?

  jw: didn't we just hear somebody say that the sun's gonna blow up?.

  me: well, they were saying that it will expand and eventually burn out.. jw: but it can't do that, it just keeps blowing up inside and getting more power.. me: well, they were talking about stars in general, how they have a life span.. jw: but god didn't make it that way, it's firmly established to time indefinite.

  it's not like the sun is a regular star.

  have a buddy that's disgellowshi and an uber driver and he is shunned like crazy.

  recently he picked up jw that was forced to say hello and greet him akward..

  He's an Uber driver? Well guess what? He doesn't have to pick up anyone he doesn't want to. No one is forcing him to pick up JW's. He could spot them, and then promptly keep driving, not even bothering to stop. F'em!

  there are many terms used at bethel that might sound foreign to normal people.

  there are many words or terms used at bethel that are unique only to their organization.

  here are just a few of them.. “a jack” this is someone who is a slacker or just lazy.. “a pot licker” this term has been used for many years but its connotation is unclear.

  Update on Detroit-Area Murder Suicide - Front Page Article

  this was on the front page of freep.com this morning - sadly there are some factual errors in this article that people will jump on (not allowed to go to college was in original article for instance - hopefully the reporter will correct it).

  interesting reading the comments below the article - all kinds of opinions.

  She even killed the family dog. I don't get this shit; they were OUT for 5+ years, the kids were thru college and on their way to a successful life, the woman was doing some mature modeling......WTF was the problem exactly??? Just by how they were living was one gigantic middle-finger to the Org and any dumbass JW's in it, so what was the problem? She left a note, but we all know that'll never be released. I mean, she must have called the (adult) kids home for Sunday dinner or something, then gathered them round the table and then opened fire, even on the dog!!! She was a selfish, self-centered, NUTCASE. Past exposure to JW-ism just added a more sinister flare to her. If she were so "depressed" she could have just offed herself and left everyone else in peace. Narc wench if you ask me. Her Congregation was probably glad to be rid of her!!! Also, FYI, I heard/read the reason they were DF'd was because they STOLE from the Congregation!

  the wife told me "no valentine's gifts this year, too many holidays".

  so what do i do, no gift for her but after i went for my walk guess what, a box of see's candies and a beautiful card.
