Caught that as well. The vid is pretty fuggin' brutal. Shocking, really. The one SS Guard has a Swastika armband. In Germany, anything like that is strictly forbidden, for fear of promoting it. Apparently Rammstein doesn't give a fugg.

Unlikely Place For a JW Reference
by TD inprobably a useless piece of trivia, but then i have a trivial mind..... unless i'm color blind, two of the band members in rammstein's recent music video, deutschland, are depicted as bible students.. from left to right, oliver riedel wears a pink triangle, (homosexual) paul landers wears a yellow star of david, (jewish) till lindemann wears a yellow & purple star of david (jewish bible student) and christian lorenz wears a simple purple triangle (gentile bible student).

The Anointed Apostate: the Remarkable Sister Pettifog
by TerryWalstrom in(on the anniversary of my jw best friend's death, i've reached into my archive to replay this incident in his honor)
the remarkable sister *pettifog*.
this morning i arrived on my bicycle at the local starbucks early and took up a seat at the outdoor table in the fresh air.. that’s when it happened--a group of 3 older ladies at one of the other tables outside rose to leave and one of them walked over to my table and spoke directly to me.

Thank you for relating this story once again. Truly remarkable. I would LOVE to have seen the dear late sister's letter to the Elduh's and WTBTS. Can you imagine?
Related to your story in a round about way.......I was probably born around the same time period of Sister Pettifrog's passing. According to the WTB&TS's "New Light", we're an "Overlapping Generation." SMH. What convoluted bullshit will these charlatans and false prophets come up with next?

Jehovahs Witness n Retention rates !!! Check this out.
by ZindagiNaMilegiDobaara ina study of religious retention rates–that is, what percentage of people raised in a particular church or religion stay with it when they are grown–is quite interesting.
https://www.patheos.com/blogs/geneveith/2012/07/religious-retention-rates/.
jdubs have alittle over 36%.

Mormons at 70% retention? How old is this? I find that hella hard to believe considering the size of the Ex-Mormon sub over on Reddit. They are leaving in DROVES, far more than JW's even.

If you aren't warming a seat in the Kingdumb Hell, than you might as well not exist in JW-Land. I know this to be true, because I experienced it. -

CSA & Michael Jackson - Watchtower's Most Famous Son
by Sea Breeze ini loved mj's music back in the day.
i still have a couple of his songs on my work-out routine.
but, i am disturbed by the recent allegations of csa.

I just watched "Leaving Neverland." I'm pretty stunned. I mean, I knew MJ was not normal, but now I'm positive he groomed families and young boys to molest them. No doubt about it. He was a sick, evil, pedo-monster. He was probably molested himself as a child.

Barbara Streisand is a quack loon. She is completely clueless as to how victims of child sexual abuse behave, and it shows.

The Governing Body have their lakeside retreat all built and paid for. What do they care how far people have to drive? Just keep sending them your hard-earned money. Oh, and OBEY.

Vet Stadium implosion 15 years later, time flies!
by moomanchu instrangely satifiying for an ex jw!!!

good bye "big bell" as my son crying asked me if that's where we're going.

I grew up going to District Conventions at The Vet, in the middle of summer of course. It was sweltering. I hated every minute. Due to the poor acoustics of the concrete monstrosity, if you sat anywhere besides right up front all you heard was reverberating echo all the way up. Attending DC's there was a complete waste of time. I still have photos from my childhood showing my family there. It was miserable. My JW parents and grandma? Dead. I'm the only one left, and refuse to subject my own son to this level of abuse.
I never got to see a baseball or football game there. SAD. Been to the new stadiums, Pittsburgh and Baltimore as well. I prefer Pittsburgh out over any of the rest. Camden Yards was nice when it was built.

Is New Zealand right to ban military style guns?
by ThomasCovenant inin response to the recent terrorist attack in new zealand their government is proposing to ban semi automatic and military style weaponry.. do you agree with this idea?.
would they be better off allowing more of these weapons instead?.
would it be better to perhaps allow more of the muslim community for example, to be armed with semi automatic guns to protect themselves at their places of worship?.

Sometimes personal rights need to be mitigated by personal responsibilities and acting for the greater good.
^ When personal rights and freedoms are removed under the guise of doing it for the "greater good", then you are on the downhill slide to not just Socialism, but Communism and tyranny. This is how ALL tyrannies and dictatorships have started out. Good luck with that.

The idea that armed civilians could resist real military is ridiculous. Even if you ignore dropping mortars or an airstrike on the house of someone resisting, or just lighting it up with a 50 calibre will solve the military issue, just shooting everyone in the first town that resists handing in firearms works. People will then report anyone not handing in firearms. It's happened before.
^ That right there? Pure bullshit. Sure, it's happened, in Nazi Germany perhaps. For damn sure, AMERICANS would not up and "roll over" like this, or like they are currently in Australia and New Zealand. Would NEVER happen. One, most of the military back the Constitution, not some new bullshit laws enacted during a period of fear. They'd refuse to do this to their own country. Two, any open attack like this on an American town would be immediately reported on, and everyone else would immediately rise up and arm themselves for an all-out assault and Civil War. This nation was built upon Revolution and rising up against oppression. The rest of the world seems to see as barbarians. American's see the rest of the (non-Democratic, non-free) world as an enslaved, pacifist, pussified, SUBJECTS of their Hierarchy governments who tax them nearly to death and "allow them" to have very basic "privileges" instead of rights. Keep that shit in your own safe-spaces. You like living like that? Be my guest.
