FYI: WatchTower "adjusted" their "Light" a few years ago to now allow conscientious objectors to perform hospital duty instead of going to jail. What a kick to the teeth of an untold number of people like you whom had to suffer thru an ordeal like this.

I'd also like to point out the irony that current Governing Body member Anthony Morris III served in Vietnam, in some sort of helicopter field medic position and saw battle. Why was HE allowed to get away with this, and come out shining like an innocent dove, making it all the way to the top as a Governing Body member? Incredible hypocrisy.

I'm not a Catholic, never was. But I give credit where credit is due. This Pope is the best Pope of all time, the most likeable, the most reasonable, and the most progressive and forgiving. He truly seems heartfelt and not just some stooge stuck-up hat holder. Sure he's made some gaffe's along the way, but overall he's the best Pope ever. He's basically saying, "Look, I'm not condoning homosexual behaviour, I'm not judging that. Only God can do that. But these people have a right to family, unconditional love, and happiness. Let's be merciful and let God sort out the rest." Can't argue with that attitude.

I'm in total agreement with Simon's last post, spot on. Biden is supposedly so far ahead in Pennsylvania, but they had to send in Obama to rally the troops, in typically Democratic Philadelphia? Hahahahahahahahaaha!!!!! I said the same thing to my spouse the other day when I saw that. They are actually panicking! Their numbers are DOWN, and they know it.

Let me tell you all something about "Polls."

I live in Pennsylvania, the heart of actually. I'd say it's a pretty even mix of Repubs/Demo's around here.

The "Polls" have Biden ahead in this state by 7+ points.

I'm here to tell you, that is complete and utter BULL-FUGGIN-SHIT!!!

A simple drive around this state will show you Trump signs and banners outnumber Biden 10 to 1!!!!! It's laughable. Hicks in trucks drive around with HUGE American and Trump flags on their trucks! We have a scumbag Leftist Governor....errrrr.....Dictator, who put a gender-confused child psychologist in place as our state Surgeon General. He closed down all businesses due to COVID-19, except WalMart, Lowes, and Home Depot. Those were all open and PACKED!!! He's the most hated Governor in our history. The only people voting Biden in this state, are in Philly and Scranton. That's it. Philly might as well be part of New Jersey for all the shits the rest of this state cares!!! Mark my words, this state is going RED, and voting for Trump. No business owners I know of are voting Blue - NONE!!

So frankly, these rigged ass "Polls" don't mean JACK SHIT to me or anyone else with a brain. PA, Virginia, Ohio, W. Va? Going to Trump. Maybe even Maryland. A lot of people around here are fed up with the Leftist bullshit, especially after this summer's endless stream of rioting and looting. It's out of control, and it's not "Trump's fault" either.

Drug prices have ALREADY been lowered in the US since Trump took office! Insulin is about as cheap as water, I know because several of my diabetic friends have told me so! Other heart medications, etc have come down significantly. Trump needs to hammer that success home, repeatedly.

Just like to state: I live in Pennsylvania. This summer I drove down thru into deep North Carolina.

Up here in PA, we've got Trump signs everywhere. They outweigh Biden signs 10 to 1 by my estimate.

I saw the same driving down thru to North Carolina.

I don't believe for an instant the polling numbers I'm seeing on the news today about Biden being out in front of Trump by 8-9 points in Pennsylvania. That is hysterical! MAYBE in the shithole cities like Philly and Harrisburg, and of course maybe in Scranton where Biden is from. But the majority of PA? TRUMP TOWN.

The MSM is just flat-out lying at this point, and they've been liberal tools for God only knows how long now.

It's disgustingly comical how much the MSM lies. Hunter Biden's 25 million from Russia? ((( Crickets Chirping )))

i am asking because it appears this specific set of people seemed to have or experience the worst aspects of that hell hole and i wanted to see if there are any others.

I've been on here since 2002, and while I tend to sway to the "Right" side of American politics, I'm quite frankly fed up with seeing shit stirred up on here every, single, day. If you have a seperate sub-forum on here, fine. But seeing this same stuff every day by certain posters is not only getting OLD, but also scaring away long-time posters as well as any new ones. It's the #1 complaint I see from people over on the (much larger) ex-JW Reddit forum.

Are some of you familiar with the concept of, "Shooting yourself in the foot?" Cause that's what's been happening around here lately.
