  The JW-Apologist was probably non other than "Johhny the Bethelite." He probably was tired of calling Rick FEAR-on, so instead called Hemorrhoid Evans.

  He backed out cause he was in his closet but then his JW roommate came back in after work so he had to hang up so as to not be caught.

  a well-done news story.

  the original watchtower organization is incorporated in pennsylvania, and the state has taken on the catholic church successfully.

  this is a case worth watching!

  This is a York, PA Fox affiliate. This is the same station (although other stations covered this as well) that reported on the Sarah Brooks case back around 2016-2017 or so. This was around the time of the Oxygen Network special, "The Witnesses" came out as well.

  i still remember the first time i commented on this board with nervous fingers barely able to press the keys.

  what triggered my entry into the forbidden was the orchestrated disfellowshipping of my then 21 year old son.. well, he's now 51, with a supportive wife, two genius sons who will never see the inside of a kingdom hall.. my first wife of 49.5 years, loyal and supportive to a fault, passed away 5 years ago.. in 2019 i married a young filipina, 33 years my junior, a nominal catholic.

  my life with her has simply been amazing and i treasure every moment.

  do you remember the jw.org book of revelation and how many times we had to study it?

  in retrospect, all those hours turned out to be for nothing, the explanation of the prophecies is now completely outdated..

  My parents used to have an extensive library of those "Rainbow Books". (all the diff colours)

  All the classics mentioned in this thread, and the ones dealing with Revelations specifically were cherished. They had old Bound Volumes as well, and even some of the old Herald magazines before they were called WatchTowers. I kept a few select pieces, but mostly just TRASHED all of it back in 2007. Almost 20 years ago, and not none of that shit means a damn thing. It was all total nonsense that was taking up space in a room. I have approx (1) shelf of WT liter-a-trash. ONE. A few classics, and (1) Bound Volume. The year 1984. Burned into my mind. Now nearly 40 years ago. What a cult.

  brother jackson visits the italy branch.to all the missing brothers and ex-brothers greetings stay healthy!this week brother jackson from world headquarters is visiting rome and bologna where the new branch will be built (by now the watchtower has turned into a multinational construction company and the old days are just a beautiful faded memory).the bethel of "italian/dissident/fugitive/spiritual" witnesses (active, but who do not agree with the organization's policies and directives because they are unscriptural) which has only a virtual location on the internet, (john 4:23, 24) will inform with a simple report this weekend.these are routine visits, but sometimes information of interest to the lord's servants can come out by mistakegreetings.

  this implies that any jw had "real" love or knew what it was outside the wts definition.

  many jws just perpetuate the type of love they were show in their congregation.

  Jesus said his followers would be easy to recognize by the love they showed towards one another. A JW Congregation is like a den of vipers!

  Jesus also said the Commandments could be narrowed down to the just 2: "Love your neighbours as yourself, and look after orphans and widows." The JW's do neither, and couldn't care less.
