  hello, i’ve just joined here and am hoping for some advice.

  i was baptised a long time ago but left soon after (da).. i recently returned and have a bible study.

  was reinstated about a year ago.

  Repeat in the mirror until you've got it down. Turn and walk away if in person. If on the phone or email, state "No", then deflect away to another topic or ask them a question about something else to throw them off.

  RE: The Disfellowshipping section:

  Apparently, the recent changes happened so fast (due to Japan and Norway decisions) that they weren't yet incorporated into this release. Hence, the changes in the GB Update will be covered thru the already released Elder's Correspondence and then at upcoming annual Elder's Meeting / Training session, wherein they'll be directed to write things in the margins.

  So this tells you just how sudden this "90-day DF'ing, then repentance and let back in" change was.

  "Directed by Holy Spirit", my ass!

  WT HQ is 100% re-active at this point. They were never pro-active, but before they had things in que they were going to do slowly over time. (frog in water, anyone?) Now, their backs are against the wall, and it's severely affecting membership and lastly, but most importantly - MONEY!!!

  With all of the changes in the Borganization in the past few months, Lloyd's newest video is on "Biblical Inaccuracies: Part 1"?

  A. This subject has been done to death over many years and many YT channels.

  B. This is a multi-part series? He really is still like JW's with their multi-part "Symposiums" at Assemblies.

  C. Again, so many recent changes to make videos about......really, it's like the Org is giving him GIFTS with this many subjects to talk about. He could go on for 6 months with these recent changes, but instead crickets are chirping and he's putting out boring ass shit? lol.....total MORON.

  JW Expanded Volunteer Activities?

  i think the gb needs to expand publishers' volunteer activities beyond door knocking.. gb has shifted away from door-knocking to more varied forms of witnessing and no longer counting time for publishers.

  my prediction is that the gb will start encouraging jws to participate in broader community volunteer efforts: clean-up drives, food banks, senior citizen support, and other non-proselytizing activities.

  this move could help them gain goodwill with government agencies and the public.. expanding volunteer activities could significantly shift how jws are perceived by the wider community.

  At WT HQ during 9/11, they justified locking the doors as just in Noah's Day, when the Ark doors closed up to the worldly people about to be killed in the great flood. It was only after some real himing and hauling around, that they were finally pressured into opening up enough to hand out some measeley bottles of water.

  WatchTower is it's own favourite charity. No JW need to give time (or more importantly) MONEY to any other charity besides THEM.

  I never had the desire, nor ever would, to read The Great Neck-Bearded One's book.

  It's enough that I've heard on these forums about chapters detailing his sexting of young girls, drunkenly humping an Xmas tree, and similar. Who in their right mind would even put that shit in a book? Embarrassing, cringey as fugg retarded crap that makes him look like an even bigger moron and creep that he already did. Did he think it was funny and relatable? Cause it's not. NOT AT ALL. British humour is fugged up sometimes; Lloyd's is even more fugged up. Humping an Xmas tree, Gah! Worse than a un-fixed dog!
