Disfellowshipping? Out the door! Well, not really. It's merely been renamed to simply "Removed from the Congregation."

So now "adherents" (no longer referred to as Members due to legal reasons) can now simply be "removed from the Congregation", the same way people who pay to belong to a gym can be removed from the membership ranks due to some club policy infringement. Oh sure....you can still nod and smile to them and say "Hi" occasionally, but you're not going to have a drink at the club bar and play pickleball with them anymore. They are persona non grata!

Barbara Anderson famously made the proclamation years ago that the Legal Dept are truly the ones at the helm of WatchTower HQ. Well now, we've got the confirmation. Anyone doubting at all that this was 1000% directly because of the Norway (and other subsequent decisions around the world against WT) verdict, needs to have their heads examined. WT Legal must be shitting themselves and hemorrhaging money something awful to make such a drastic course correction such as this at such speed.

But really, this isn't exactly a course correction. It's a shell game. They're not really addressing the very actions that have caused several governments and agencies to rule against them and their Human Rights Violations. Nope! Not at all. They are merely attempting to disguise what it is exactly that they are doing, which is basically destroying families under the guise of disciplinary "Christian Love."

@NotFormer: That is already what they are referring to. The F&DS is now ONLY considered to the be Governing Body, so how you treat THEM (AKA: Christ's Brothers, leading his earthly Organization) is paramount to your salvation.

However, even this in itself isn't a new concept. The old brown "Reasoning from the Scriptures" book spells out how Jesus ransom sacrifice was only for the 144,000, and only by being associated and in good standing with THEM, does mankind or anyone have any hope of making it thru. They even labeled themselves as "The Greater Moses."

So JESUS stated that He, "was the Truth, the Life, and the Way, and no one comes to the Father except thru ME,".........................

But along come a group of old Geezers in New York. They proclaim themselves to the F&DS, and they alone (now only the Governing Body) and everyone's salvation depends upon kissing their asses and bowing to their every command, or ELSE!

What total blasphemy. In fact, they fit the description of the "Evil Slave" to a "T"! Jesus said to be on the lookout for those coming after Him claiming they were Him, speaking for Him, saying he was in some invisible chamber, and demanding you to follow after them. Claim that Jesus is ruling, but invisibly. Since 1914. With no proof besides the outbreak of WW2, over 100 years ago. This, in direct contradiction to the bible which states that upon Jesus return, "every eye would see." Sooooooo........NOT invisibly then, right? RIGHT? "Invisible parousia" - my ass! Him arriving in the sky for every eye to see also makes logical sense: It proves Jesus and Jesus alone as King of King and validates the Christian belief system. Jesus rides up: BOOM! Immediately solves the age-old question as whose religion is right. No more guessing. Allah and Xeno a no show? Sucks to be you!

Claim you must follow them, no matter what.....even it doesn't make sense from a human standpoint. So they're going the Jim Jones / David Koresh route now? Sure as hell seems like it! Listen, OBEY, and be Blessed! Oh, and DONATE, suckers!

They want....errr.....DEMAND......that you leave your pitiful estate to them, the Governing Body! Your kids are worldly and no good anyway. These grifters want it ALL!

As stated above, it's the Year of Our Lord, 2024! Anything can be looked up, cross-referenced, checked, etc about any subject. Instead of JW leadership hitting back with facts that would back up their claims, they instead use fear, obligation, and guilt to bully the membership into willful ignorance and a spiritual gulag.

The only people ignorant about the dubious, criminal, money-grubbing habits of cults such as the JW's, Mormons, and Scientology, are the very members themselves. They are deliberately kept in a bubble as to remain ignorant as to how badly they are being bent over and fleeced by their OverLords.

Increasingly, these cult members resemble more and more the prisoners of North Korea. Even the literature now resembles North Korean propaganda. It's really something to "witness" from outside of their bubble. Attempting to puncture their bubble results in them going into full denial, plugging their ears, and then running away like a petulant child.

I'm 44, probably one of the more "youngin's" on here. Even I remember the "deep" book studies where the old timers would bring out the "Babylon the Great Has Fallen, God's Kingdom of a 1000 years, When?", and multitudes of other rainbow books of the bye-gone era to supplement the current book study or WatchTower articles of the week/month. It was brutal for a hyper-active kid to have to endure, but somehow I'm still alive to tell the tale. My parents and all of those older ones they studied with? Dead! ALL of them!

Everything that made the religion of my youth is DEAD, and in it's place is this......this.......farce.....this jaw-dropping stupidity filled with infantile gibberish. Silly sappy music videos, dumbass "Cart Song", and endless articles on obedience and unquestioning loyalty and creature worship of the Governing Body. This in addition to "Listen, Obey, and be Blessed!" as well as endless guilt trips to give more and more money until you have nothing left to give. Meanwhile, WatchTower is worth an estimated $46 Billion USD, and doesn't even operate even (1) soup kitchen, homeless shelter, hospital, orphanage, or do anything to give back to it's members any sort of charity. ZERO. They operate (1) retirement community in Fishkill, NY.....where the elite old timer Bethelites get to retire to IF they are deemed worthy.

Types and Anti-Types? GONE.

Mandatory Field Service hours reporting? GONE

Preaching to everyone until the final "Ark doors closed"? GONE

Mandatory dressing like a 1950's version of the Cleavers? GONE

Just STFU, Listen, OBEY, and donate! "Specific instructions" may also include lying to the authorities (Theocratic warfare), destroying evidence, and more witness intimidation via marking, shunning, pressure other family members, etc, etc. Basically, going balls deep on the cult intimidation tactics much like Scientology has done. Why not? Might as well follow their model to a T.....worked with the real estate portfolio after all?

2. JW's are told they must strengthen their faith in the channel, the faithful and discreet slave and be ready to “receive specific lifesaving instructions” as they are “about to face a tribulation…” (AKA: shred those documents and donate more money! Oh, and STFU you good for nothing slaves!)

What isn't mentioned in this article, is the cause of their "Tribulation." Numerous commissions and investigative inquires throughout the world looking into their handling and covering up of CSA and protecting pedophiles. That, along with their human rights violations via DF'ing and Shunning. (soooo loving!) Multiple large lawsuits, with Montana being a HUGE one that Mark O'Donnell just announced that WT Legal (after 5 long years!) asking for mediation for settlement with the victims, only 2 months for the trial date! This, after they were scolded and fined by the Judge multiple times. They are in deep shit in Montana, and they know it! So quick, mediate and pay them off and don't forget the Gag Order! Sickening.

So to tighten their grip on the rank-n-file Sheeple's throats and scare them in obedience and staying, they're going to now try and get out ahead of all this (too late, dumbasses!) by claiming all of this "persecution" by the local and World Governments is really them turning on the JW's, which of course is the Great Tribulation.
