^^^^ This, right here, is probably the best description of this non-event that I've ever seen. EVER. Short, and to the point. I haven't been to one of these in 10 years now. I had gone to every one until the age of 21. No more. Sitting there, all dressed up, and for what? Do nothing? Partake in NOTHING? Maybe (if you are lucky) you get to "observe" one of the elite Congregation nutcases (AKA CatLady Pioneer or ancient confused Elder) proclaim to be one of the 144K and nibble a flat cracker and scarf down some wine. It's somber......it's boring, and I nor my family ever ONCE got asked out afterwards to dinner by anyone in the congregation. Not ONCE. I didn't even know that happened until after I got on here and read about it! Talk about feeling left out! I no longer feel Jesus meant for everyone to sit around and NOT partake of his sacrifice. What good does that do? Nothing. And this BS about how we in the "Great Crowd" benefit from our "association" with the Governing Body, and how they are the "Greater Moses" (see Reasoning book on 144k and mediator)??? What a crock of complete sh*t! That is pure bait and switch by the Governing Body OverLords right there. Those charlatans are sitting in the throne meant for Jesus, and proclaiming that only by going thru THEM can you be saved by Jesus' sacrifice. THEY are the Apostates!

here is the segment on the conti abuse case in california and jehovah's witness's response as reported on by the abcnews nightline broadcast which was shown early this morning.

it really displays some absolutely shocking behavior from not only her abuser and his (supportive) wife, but also the jw attorneys and elders via video.

i am just blown away by the audacity displayed by these monsters.. we can now understand why governing body member stephen lett slipped in his comments a couple of weeks ago about "untrue reports of child abuse" in one of his talks which can viewed on the cult's website.

It was pre-emptive damage control, to place the idea that "Satan" is using apostates to conjure up slander to discredit the JW religion.

I am so repulsed with this religion that I am nearly at a loss for words.

Please forward this story to any all JW's you may know, plaster it on Facebook and all social media to get the word out. There can be no simple denial of these abusive policies. And if Conti is reading this website, know that we all support you and feel that you are brave and wish we could do more to help you.

So instead of praying for "The End" to arrive promptly and alleviate us all from our hardships, for Jehovah to make His Sovereign name known, to announce His invisible Kingdom and the Son whom has been reigning on the throne "invisibly" since 1914..........the rank and file are now instead supposed to be praying daily for the success of Kingdom Hall construction and to hand over even more money????

Truly, the jig is up. The bean counters run this cult. The shift from literature to real estate is complete. Shake downs, intimidation, manipulation, guilt, and fear are now the cornerstones of this American, pseudo-religious money-making CULT formerly known as the WTBTS.

No mention of building soup kitchens, homeless shelters, orphanages, hospitals, or retirement communities to actually HELP the flock? So much for the fruitages of the spirit, aye?

I also noticed once again, that JESUS was not mentioned even ONCE in this entire document. No where. Not once. Neither was talking about helping the sheep. (Just fleecing them).

The religion of my youth repulses me in the extreme.

Oh C'mon now!!!!! I will admit it......I've got a dirty mind at times. But even I have to admit, that I DO NOT see a penis in the original photo on the left, in the opened bottom song book.

However, on the second photo where there is now a white Asian-ish type man, it looks as though he has his tongue sticking out licking the other man who's standing. My logical mind knows that it is merely the red shirt of the boy, but a quick glance made my mind see the white man licking the other man. (sick yo!)

This obsession that some people have with trying to see pornographic images in the literature seems really far-fetched to me. We all know the JW cult is WHACK, but really? If you want to see REAL pornographic images and instructions, go read up on the "Family International" cult.......formerly, the "Children of God." Now THAT is a far-out sexually perverse sicko pedo cult.

I think it far more reasonable to suspect that the guy in the first photo left the JW cult, so they replaced him in the next releases of the same literature. An "elimination" that individual and rewrite of history. He simply never existing. Very 1984 if you ask me.

What did you become after leaving Jehovah's Witnesses?

hey guys,.

so, since my leaving i have been doing so much research on so many topics that it's been extremely enlightening.

not only have i learned a lot about the organization and what motivates it, but i have also learned a lot about the bible, god and most importantly, myself.. currently, i'm not quite sure where i stand, but i'm having some real issues with the bible and god.

i met a coworker at my work who was even more commited to his religion then almost anybody i had seen in the jw mids yet.

whenever we went for lunch, he would do a little prayer first, he didnt care if anybody would take notice of him.

he does not curse, never!
