  Former Catholics I would like your opinion?

  i've got a job interview next tuesday at a catholic hospital.

  i have got more than one college degree as well as years of realitive experiance for this position and i am well qualified.

  but the "sister" who called me for the interview wants me to bring my high school dipmola all i have is the legal ged which was enough to get me started on my career many years ago.

  however as i make my exit i want to reveal as many things as possible.

  i have a friend who had doubts about the latest change and wrote a letter.

  Next time your friend comes around tell him that the Russell dates and all the 1914 stuff means nothing at all anyway because the bible tells us clearly when Jesus sat down at his father's right and hand and started to rule in Heaven, Ephesians 1:20-23, yep right there. I just love using the Bible to blow up the JW's dogma they can't deny it!!!

  However, Exodus 19:5, 6 ultimately has a far more glorious fulfillment. In the book of Revelation, the apostle John hears heavenly creatures applying this scripture as they praise the resurrected Jesus: “You were slaughtered and with your blood you bought persons for God out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, and you made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God, and they are to rule as kings over the earth.” (Revelation 5:9, 10) In its final sense, then, the royal priesthood is God’s heavenly Kingdom, the ruling authority for which Jesus taught us to pray. (Luke 11:2) All 144,000 anointed Christians who endure faithful to the end will have a part in that Kingdom arrangement. (Revelation 20:4, 6) What a wonderful fulfillment of the promise made so long ago through Moses!

  MR Fool great find and the quote about learning about Gods kingdom, God kingdom will be more real to you. WoW nothing about knowing Jesus or that God draws one to Jesus not himself or a Kingdom. In Galations Paul says that if any one spread another Gospel other then the one they talked about a Curse be on you. I wish God would hurry up with that curse on the JW leaders.

  pioneer school for 2 weeks starting today in lynnwood, wa.

  I think it complete narcissism, anyone that goes onlong with this teaching and then thinks he or she is anointed because holp spirit told you is either narcissistic, dolusional, Psychopath or all of the above. And those of us that are awake from the borg know that this chapter in Romans is talking about the differences in someone that is spiritual as to one that is fleshly and nothing else. Because 1john 5:1 and Galatians 3;26 says that all who believe in christ are gods sons Romans chapter 2 or 3 says there is no distinction between ones. So with all that it in mind its pretty scary to think who's really is running the ORG.

  i was studying the book of revelations with a friend, it was really hard reading that bible book and trying to explain that these things written in the most famous book of all time was directly about our little religion. It just screamed total arrogance to me and i couldn't stomach it.

  rutherford's eyes it was not distinctive enough from a marketing point of view, (having restructured "the business" after its severe contraction in the 20s due to his failed 'vision') so he came up with a name which featured the creator's distinctive name, "jehovah's witnesses" - a business strategy employed in those days by kellog and many others.. we now describe them as 'designer names'.. here are the scriptural proofs, but of course, they may count for nothing in some people's eyes because the "glorious ones" in brooklyn say differently!

  Yeah remember they first called the new members of the great crowd Jonadabs and not JW's. Like Blondie said they were not good enough to be JW's ' Also lets not forget that since the great tribulation did not break out in 1914 which they admitted by the 1960's then infact there is no great crowd yet.
