I not sure if this will help but Christ is the only one anointed, believers in Christ are part of Christs body and being part of his body means they are part of him anointed through him. All Christians are part of the body their is no distinction or favoritism. Any other understanding is not what the writers were trying to get across and is a lie.

Is the religion of Jehovah's Witnesses really an inferior form of Christianity?
by nicolaou inseems to be quite a few posters recently pulling down the beliefs of jw's as not biblical or truly christian.
maybe you're right, maybe you're wrong, i really don't care.. in some important ways though mainstream christians often behave better than jehovah's witnesses; most don't practice shunning or impose lethal medical prohibitions on their members.
many are far more tolerant of the lgbt community and a few even make the awkward attempt to square the fact of evolution with their faith.. please note that i'm saying some, not all.. so i suppose it's fair to say that differing forms of christianity can be better or worse for individuals, families and the wider community.

JWs do not follow the teachings of Christ. If they could remove him and go back to the law code of the old testament they would in a heart beat. So yes they are inferior and in fact not Christian at all! -

details of my story and the judicial committee you find in my older threads.. i am lucky, as the relationship to my parents is the same as before.
now my mother told me what one elder (cobe of the congregation of my ex wife) told one sister.. he met her on the street and talked about my disfellowshipping.

Try to reason with your dad using some Scriptures we can help you get the Scriptures you need. If that doesn't work then prepare yourself to leave but we should know how many family members are jws? Can you get baptized and fade away later with out any real problems or loss of family? -

Reading the book of Enoch found some gems.

First off the book of Enoch or at least some of it's writings we're found among the dead sea scrolls. This to me proves that this book was as important to the Jews back then as any other. In the book a few things I noticed. First it talks about Watcher's which is the name used in the older Sumerian texts to describe the Annanaki. These are the lessor gods later known as angels that some came down and mated with woman. This word along with a couple of other things makes me think that the book of Enoch is a copy of a much older writing. Another reason is all the angels listed have names ending with El, like Michael etc. This book also talks about Michael a lot and he is the head of the good angels 4 good angels are all that is pretty much talked about on the good side. The bad angels number 200 ,these are the ones that come down and mated with woman etc.
The phrase Son of man is used a lot and it's become clear to me that this phrase may have originated from this text. The Son of man is clearly a god in this book, possibly one just below the head God. The description of the top God, lord of spirits etc again is clearly from Sumerian origins. The biggest revelation to me while reading these writings is that it's become clear that the book of Revelations is a rework of this writing, the similarities are at times uncanny. Enoch is being shown around by an angel sees visions etc., just like john. Some of the descriptions about what's going on are also very similar.
Just thought I would share and I believe that all or most of the writings in the Bible are texts copied or stolen from.Canaanite, Sumerian, Assyrian, Babylonian, and Egyptian writings then tweeked for Jewish consuption. This looks to be another example. I also believe that several different gods are talked about in these texts and then the texts we're redacted so as to then use just one, the Jewish one. Oh just one last note it's become clear to me that Jesus was never Michael or should I say never ment to be Michael. The Son of man and Michael are two entirely different beings in this text.

oh and by the way, do you remember what geoffrey jackson said at the australian royal commission when he was asked about an inactive jw being called to account if the elders stopped by and find him celebrating the holiday?
don't worry if you've forgotten because the couple mentions it to the elders, you know, seeing as it's the very same reason why they're being accused of apostasy, thus proving geoffrey jackson's statements to be false!.

No Sports Cars Please!

the reasoning was that a driver couldn't easily take fellow dubbies out preaching in such a vehicle.
was that ever official policy or just local nonsense from a grumpy po?.
