This generation, Jerusalem, spiritual Jerusalem but what about Judea?
by Crazyguy inin the book of luke chapter 21 it's writings are very similar to that of matthew where jesus is talking about the end and "this generation" .
he mentions jerusalem being surrounded and to flee.
in modern times bible believers believe this generation is about thier generation and jerusalem is refuring to spiritual jerusalem and they point to scriptures in the book of revelations to make the point.

In the book of Luke chapter 21 it's writings are very similar to that of Matthew where Jesus is talking about the end and "this generation" . He mentions Jerusalem being surrounded and to flee. In modern times bible believers believe this generation is about thier generation and Jerusalem is refuring to spiritual Jerusalem and they point to scriptures in the book of Revelations to make the point. But here's a thought that many miss. In verse 20 in chapter 21 he says those in Judea must flee to the mountain's. No where in any other future writings in the bible is thier a mention of a Judea in any other way that I know of other then the literal place of Judea. No heavenly or spiritual Judea. So it would seem as though this is yet another nail in the coffin of the idea that the generation being discussed is any other then the generation Jesus was talking to. Or did I miss something? -

Contradictions of the "no blood" policy....
by stuckinarut2 inso according to witnesses, the bible states that all blood is sacred, and once it leaves the body's circulatory system it must be "poured out on the ground" to show respect to jehovah.. it mustn't be eaten or transfused.. so how do they justify it being ok to take in fractions of blood components when these have been produced from donated whole blood?.
the whole blood was not "poured out".
it was taken to a laboratory, stored, manipulated, put through processes to separate parts of it, broken down etc.... it certainly was not "dealt with in a sacred way".. and yet these blood fractions are deemed "ok" by the society?.

Here's a good one the 2006 November kingdom ministry, you must kill yourself by not taking your blood or any other human blood but bovine blood is A OK. -

It's really sad a lot of these people really can't afford them but will do anything not to be seen out of place so they'll suffer and figure out a way to get one and in many cases several, one each per family member. -

Ok number 3 Hebrew was spoken as a language as far back as 1200 bc in Ugarit. Yes it was an older dialect but still the bass language I believe. Also please give me your references that philo invented Jesus. There is some evidence that his writtings influenced or even became the philosophy of Christianity but I haven't read anything about Philo inventing him.
As far as your other points there so far over thier heads they will just deflect and move on to a subject like faith. Remember thier in a delusional world. My elders got all up set when I just spoke of the things Jesus taught not to exalt Not to judge , if he's not against me he for me, where there's two or more thier I will be also. That's it that's all and they couldn't even handle these simple teachings in thier own Damn bible. They just want to believe thier special and god loves them more than anyone else that's it that's all they want.

Blood, the US Army, the US Navy and the Watchtower Society
by OrphanCrow inthe watchtower society blood doctrine is intricately linked to clinical trials in blood technology.
the wts deliberately changes and manipulates the blood doctrine in order to fill the requirements for medical testing in the field of blood technology.
it has been happening since the start of the blood ban and has continued for the last 70 years, leaving untold numbers of dead and maimed jws in the wake of the societys quest for everlasting life here on earth.. .

Excuses for God
by xelder ini am amazed at how people will go to extreme stretches of logic to explain or justify the supposed actions of their god (lower case g intentional, no upper case deserved).
i have seen people with wonderful bullshit detectors in normal life, throw all of that ability away in order to retain their hope of a creator who cares for them.
i am agnostic, certainly not atheistic, since i think atheism is not provable.

What would happen if...
by StarTrekAngel inin an effort to excuse yourself from elder persecution, you present an argument.
whether at a jc or just in an average elder shepherding call.
most people who have confronted a jc, have tried to explain to the elders about what they know of the org but the incriminating questions always come up.. when confronted with the question, do you still believe the gb is the f&ds?

I think most elders run away from anyone that's showing signs of apostate thinking. They are delusional and don't want the apostate to mess with thier delusion. We scare them. I pointed out to two elders at my house both real nice guys some things about how the JW's exalt themselves and judge other Christians even pointed out some scriptures by Jesus saying not to be like this and they just got big eyed and the lead elder got up and said something about me trying to teach him something and proclaimed that were now going to have a jc.
Well one, nothing I said was out side the bounds of the bible and even found a old WT backing up mostly what I was getting at, so I wasn't trying to teach him anything contrary. In the end I realized they like to think of themselves special in the eyes of god. Anything that screws with that delusion and they run.
