I'll bet in the future if one downloads a version it will go in delete all older versions and get rid of all publication before a certain year and make changes to any other publication they want. If you don't want to loose older info you better take steps .

WT Library DVD 2015 Just Updated to 2016 Information WTF
by Poztate inevery year i install the wt library on cd or dvd to my wife's laptop.
the 2015 dvd seemed no different than normal but today when she opened it up it said updates are available and to download updates.
it updated to 2016 magazines,and study articles.etc.

I went to jw facts last night to look at the number and the baptism number in the last 10 to 15 years are all over the place. You would expect numbers to go up after 9/11 or the crash of 2007-2008 but they have spikes in other years that don't make sense . I just don't think I believe any of thier numbers anymore. If you look at the numbers thier not loosing anymore now then before yet thier panicking and stating everyone should remain loyal etc.. This tells me thier loosing more in the past few years then the numbers are telling us.

The Internet has already made it where most countries their in now no or very little growth. I think they will be in the negative in less then a decade. Other threads have talked about how thier loosing half of everyone they baptize and numbers around 250k per year are very common. If they continue to loose 2.5 million per decade or more they will be going down quickly. I think this is already happening.

First the idea that the Assyrians had 185000 troops is preposterous. 2 the Assyrians had lots of enemies and if they had lost 185k men thier empire would have fallen and the king would have been killed. Instead the empire was passed on to his son. 3 writings found in Nineveh state that Hezzekia capitulated gave up riches even his daughters in order to keep from loosing his city Jerusalem. The writings in the bible were nothing more the propaganda to show how the God of the Jews saved them from destruction by the Assyrians and to deflect attention from the facts that the Kings had to capitulate.

Low Day For Me Today

it's been about 4 or 5 weeks since i was disfellowshipped.
so far it's been easy, i enjoyed being left alone, no one bothering me, no one telling me i need to do more, need to reach out, questioning why i didnt go on the ministry, and the fact that my ex-wifes family cant talk to me even if they wanted to.

Trying to get back in when you have been dfd for apostasy be prepared to wait a long time especially if your ex father is an elder. I know it really sucks but maybe starting a new life make new friends and teach your daughter reality in the end is the best move. If not are you prepared to wait years?

Just realized they changed maybe the most important scripture in the bible.
by Crazyguy ini just read the scripture then went and checked in thier older bible and it read the same so i check the greek interlinear and yes they changed john 3:16 .
the verse reads "all who believe in him should not perish but have everlasting life" the cult version says "exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life".. so not only do they say one must exercise faith meaning having to work for it but also they changed should not perish but having everlasting life to might not be destroyed again making a caveat where one does not exist.
just to add to the point verse 18 in both bibles says the one having faith is not judged, totally blowing up thier version of 16 but of course they change 18 to say exercising faith too but it makes little difference, since it says not judged.

I know from experience that the cult leaders will and have said these scriptures only apply to the anointed they getting this free gift of life and all us other none anointed it doesn't apply too but they have really zero scriptures that show a distinction between anointed Christians and none anointed.

I think it's also do to the fact that this cult is a works bases religion. One must do something in order to receive a free gift, like that makes any sense, but how else are they going to get free labor.
