Has anyone done a detail research on this subject? The gospels seem to contradict one another and Christians apologists have a bunch of different ways to try to explain away the problems. Has anyone have a concrete explanation for or against him truly being dead three days and three nights as the story goes?

Eschatology based faith
by Steel inmy wife recently took a week off work to pioneer which really pissed me off because it kind of pissed away our summer holidays.
of course i asked my typical questions about " do you actually know what the new covenant is ?
or what is the point of all this time with the new understanding of the faithful slave.

The faithful slave verse is just a question. What's really crazy is if there was to be one specific group or sect of Christianity that god was going to use why doesn't the Bible specifically tells us? It does say exactly who not to follow, anyone declaring another good news, those that claim to be anointed and saying the time is near, and anyone that's changed the Bible. Guess who does all three??

It's also interesting they used the term "the customs of those people" so since the custom of the JWs is to do this or do that then you have to do the same. Wasn't it the custom of the Jews to practice the old mosaic law, get circumcised, and blindly follow the religious leaders of thier time even to the point of killing the Son of God?
