Their life saving work is pathetic and if the Bible is gods attempt to help , what a joke! If you lived you kids and wanted to save their lives from an impending event would you tell them in code or in some convoluted story? Not me I would get straight to the point!!!!!!

by eyeuse2badub inas my wife left for fs this morning (aka gossip and coffee time with her friends) she mentioned to me that one of the parts in the clam meeting this week was:.
to remind the 'faithful' that, "we are involved in a life saving work!".
so i just calmly mentioned to her that if he really wanted to, jehoober could save thousands of lives every day just by controlling the weather or providing just clean water or just a just a few loaves and fishes!.

The whole thing is a joke!! I mean think about it, yes other cultures got circumcisied for possible health issues and maybe religion ie the Egyptians but who the hell else would care? And who goes around looking?
This is a Greek thing, I’m mean think about it the Greeks were all into nudity. The wrestled in the nude, played the Olympic Games in the nude and were so absences with the penis that big ones were thought of as animalistic, that’s why thier art pictures or sculptures always depicted the male with a small penis.
This is just more proof that the Bible was a Greek concoction.

Well who said there would be a great apostasy, Paul? Well Paul said and taught a whole bunch of things that didn’t agree with what jesus supposedly said. The Bible is just a evolution of ideas that contradict older ideas already written. Just look at the gospels.

Fred Franz Former Training in Ancient Greek
by Wild_Thing inhas anyone been able to verify that fred franz received the minimal training in ancient greek that he claimed gave him the expertise to translate the bible?
you would think that would be fairly easy to verify or disprove in this day and age.
what college did he attend?

I think Franz only took a semester of Greek , he didn’t know much. In the end almost everything he taught came from another sect of Christianity. The world coming to an end in 1975 as an example was originally taught by Armstrong leader of the WWCoG

The elder at my JC ask me about going out in service I told them it’s a waste of time . They pretty much agreed but One of them said that going out was a benefit to the ones in the congregation. They knew recruiting people wasn’t happening anymore.

Child sacrifice and Jesus' sacrifice
by Whynot injeremiah 7:31 says, "they have built the high places of toʹpheth, which is in the valley of the son of hinʹnom, in order to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, something that i had not commanded and that had never even come into my heart.’".
according to this scripture it's unthinkable for jehovah to be pleased with child sacrifices.
but yet he sent his son to be killed as a sacrifice for all?.

It is a complete contradiction and jesus was a new god to replace any old gods. They the inventors of jesus probably never read that scripture. Many scriptures in the New Testament are a direct contradiction to the Old Testament. Marcion didn’t like the old gods at all and said there was no way the Old Testament god could be the father of jesus. The New Testament in my opinion evolved over time and reflected some of these ideas.
