  More evidence of fraud in 2nd Peter: Noah didn't preach, per Genesis 6

  thanks for reading the 3-part series on the contradictory characterization of lot in genesis vs 2nd peter, analyzing genesis 19 and comparing it to 2nd peter 2. in the articles, i took a step-by-step approach to show how 2nd peter's declaring lot as "righteous" was exactly the opposite goal of the author of genesis, since the point of the story is how unrighteous lot was saved not due to his righteousness, but on behalf of his righteous uncle abraham (the star of the torah).. of course, the book of 2nd peter is widely acknowledged by nt scholars to be a fraudulent work, written under a pseudonymous (fake) name in order to 'patch up' some loose ends in the torah, likely to support then-blossoming doctines of christianity.

  of particular interest to ex-jws is that one intent was to support the duty to warn others of the coming end of days, including the jw's beloved scripture, matt 28:19, that justifies their preaching work: "go thereforth and make disciples...." the only support for the claim that noah preached before the flood is found in 2nd peter, so it's a dubious claim.. in the latest article, i examine the flood account in genesis 6, showing how god had already condemned mankind even before he offered the covenant agreement to noah, so there's absolutely no reason for noah to be a "preacher of righteousness", as 2nd peter claims, since god's judgment had already been passed, and death sentence had been handed down.. .

  in 1914 a great war broke out and the jw's have used that to add credibility to their idea that jesus took over power in that year and satan was cast out to earth.

  what most people forget or do not realize is that jesus said there would be 'wars and reports of wars' but no big deal for the time was not yet.

  then of course the great tribulation would break out and would be a game changer, but in the 1960's the gb stopped saying the great tribulation started in 1914 and said its now a future event.

What most people forget or do not realize is that Jesus said there would be 'wars and reports of wars' but no big deal for the time was not yet. Then of course the great tribulation would break out and would be a game changer, but in the 1960's the GB stopped saying the great tribulation started in 1914 and said its now a future event. So with what Jesus said and the GB admitting the great tribulation did not start in 1914, most people fail to realize that the great war that broke out in 1914 is irrelevant.

  did Russell come up with 1914 via the pyramid or just confirm it via pyramid

  so i read somewhere that the 1914 date came from bourbor and that russell used the pyramid to confirm his belief in 1914. its this accurate?

  Former Long Time Elder - Judicial Committees

  when i first was appointed as an elder, i could not wait to be on a judicial committee.

  it semed like most hearings invovled middle age men and women cheating on their mates because either they had married early or felt that were being neglected by their mate.

  most times i felt i need to take a long hot shower after a hearing.. the toughest part was seeing these sweet young children grow up in "the truth", and now you are about to judge their future based on their repentance.

  I was never an elder but a good friend of mine was only 18 and date raped by a guy from her school who feigned interest and even studied for a while. He was all over her like white on rice and she was too shy and meek to really get him to leave her alone. Anyway after the rape she became pregnant and did not go to the elders until the baby was showing about 4 months in. They Df her most likely because she did not go to them ASAP, they never seemed to consider that it was rape, i think it was more about them. Should've left the ORG then.

  Please clear up a confusion I have Do Christians believe that the AntiChrist will be Satan the Devil in human form?

  for years i have been told different scenarios from different christian groups about who the antichrist will be.

  some born agains have told me that the antichrist will be satan the devil stripped of all his powers and trapped in a human body on earth.

  he will still have the same attitude and try to get people to worship him instead of jehovah and jesus.

  So it looks like that Yes Boubor came up with the dates and then Russell used those dates in his books and the measurements of the Pyramid to collaborate his dates so to speak.

  a change the society is going to make on Thursday night meetings, can someone confirm this for me?

  my mother gets a call from a dear friend in the midwest.

  and this friend begins to tell my mom that her kids who attend congregations in california were told that there "thursday night meeting" or the "theocratic ministry school" is being somewhat cancelled, and that it will be considered "family night".

  this would start sometime in the next couple of months.. the reason for this change is to entice the younger generation, because there is a dramatic decrease in attendence at the meetings, and that this in some way would help them to have more interest.. what are your thoughts?
