Deception by Omission - The Good News

perhaps one of the strongest ways to deceive someone is to repeat only one feature of a particular issue over and over and to never to explore the other facets of the same issue.

24:14 was repeated into my head thousands of times while growing up as if it was the only good news (gospel).

Franz mentioned in his book CC that there was only 8 mentionings of the "good news about the kingdom", but many hundreds about the "good news" which is christ. As I read the bible now with out WT influence i see a whole other perspective of Jesus and the Good News and its much better then the WT's .

Fading fast children are starting to ask questions, need help.

ok i have been fading fast, missed a lot of meetings over the past couple of months and the kids think its mostly do to my being busy with work.

this morning was probably the first sunday that i was home and could go but did not.

so my 8 year old asked me if i was going and why when i said no.

Great suggestions everybody, thanks this is new territory for me and i want to come off as loving as possible and village girl I have no problem with being head of my house i just want to be diplomatic before i use that card and i always demand sex after putting her in her place, lol. Thanks again.

Long serving pioneer no longer has hours quota to stay on the list...

a family member visited us this past weekend and said that my 80 years old mother was recently told she no longer has to meet the annual hour quota to remain on the pioneer list.

"what a loving provision from the brothers" were my sister's exact words.

"mom was so stressed out with having to get her hours in every month" are you freaking kidding me?

Good stuff, if you want to be taken seriously though you'll need to work on your verbiage just like i need to work on my spelling. With this information and the records from that trading family can't remember their name it will be impossible for the Watchtower to dispute the record unless they lie. And of course we know they never lie. lol

"Abstain from blood" reasoning

most of the scriptures pertaining to the use of blood are straight forward.

"do not eat blood.

at acts 15 it uses the words "abstain from...".

This whole thing is taken out of context, In Leviticus the word "life" is mentioned several times and in the same chapter as well as in Duet. If one came a cross a dead animal that they themselves did not kill they could eat it. So the pouring out of the blood was a act of respect for killing the animal taking its life. Jesus states in Matt. chapter 12 i think, that its Ok to break the law if it means saving a life, and he used the example of how David entered the Temple and ate the bread. Jesus also says in verse 7 "we desire mercy not sacrifice". The JW's got it all wrong just to attract attention to themselves back in 1945 after the war. A truly Blood giulty religion!!!

had another conversation with my wife this morning

she was getting already for service so i asked her "how do you do it?

" "how do you still go and do all this spiritual stuff now that you know that my research and letter to bethel shows that the jw religion denies us the messiah"?

she got all defensive and disagreed again with what i wrote to bethel and then i had to step in and tell her that its "its them that teaches that we don't have a mediator in christ and were not under the new covenant".

Thanks for the advice everyone and Captain Obvious I have and am reading some of Steves books, but I also don't think I was ever brainwashed. At least not as bad as most, I never really got all that spiritual and cared that much in the past to really look at things. When I did i was very objective in my thoughts and thats why I was able to wake up so soon after starting to research. I do see a completely different mind set with my wife. She does get deffensive, shuts down and withdraws from me. So yes i will be very careful but at the same time I have to do what I can to rescue as many of my family as possible.

I'm wondering now that its going to become more obvious that I'm just not going to my kids and they ask about it, what do I say??? Most of you know that my wifes still in heavy so I need advice on what to say to my children with out everything blowing up on me?

What scriptures are you talking about that they removed and had brackets around in one of your bibles, also not sure what you're talking about concerning the keeping the sabbaths and festivals?
