Man trying to understand JW dosctrine and all their contradictions is crazy. I wonder if they do this to confuse the rank and file into no trying to even study figure they're just stupid and stop trying altogether. Theres a scripture somewhere that states something to the effect that those that try to figure out all the details it will be a waste. Im not saying that we should not scrutinize the bible but the message is that christ is the messiah and he brings gifts of salvation. This is the good news and this is all that counts. When we allow other things to count thats when religion starts to control you.

Overheard some JWs on the train today- going to be interesting this year
by lrkr incruising down to the city this afternoon we were behind a group of j-dubs on the train.
part of the conversation centered around the "generation" teaching.
all of them clearly trying to wrap their heads around it.

Stand for pure worship, Jesus said there would be false teachers, he did not say and when you find one continue to go along with his false teaching because he admits that he's wrong once in a while or because he assures you that some day he will get it right.

well some one frogot to mention that in chapter 62 of isaiah gods says his true followers will be called by a new name.

Well first off he threw Statan out of heaven and it only took like 4 years, then he pick a arogant hard drinking wanna be judge to direct his earthly org. Then with this judges help he chased away 80% of all the followers to begin again this time with more faithful ones. He instructed the ORG's leaders to lie time and time agian so as to attract more followers to his fathers tuthful heavenly kingdom. Now after all this hard work jesus must be happy that he picked this paticular ORG because they have a whopping 7.5 million followers, no wait actually only 144,000 true christians sons of god followers you know that mighty nation his father talked about. The other 7.5 million are just wantabee christians that still have one foot stuck in Satans world so we like to refure to those as Jonadabs. Their just loosers really, that will have to stay down on earth. We don't want them up in heaven messing things up, up there.

I ask this because the jw,s are told that the 144k represent the priestly class and were to be led by these, but if I can show that Jesus abolished the temple priest class or any other discription of a priest group over men scripturaly then there's just more nails in the coffin.
