by Crazyguy inin the early writings of the bible its mentioned that the israelites worshiped false gods, gods of the stars and other celestial bodies.
ezekiel even bloviates against this in his writings and king josiah is said to have abolish these practices.
jeremiah mentions that god would even destroy the city were sun worship was being practiced a place called bethshemesh in egypt.

Helios is a later name for an older God RA, even the Egyptians changed the name of thier God's at times. This name was the Greek name for the Egyptian God. Here's the problem, I have learned that most of the writings were either legends and myths the Jews made up or took from other civilizations. I don't think you completely agree with me on this. You believe in a king named David I assume, I see him as nothing more then legend same as his son Solomon. You may believe in the exodus and the ten commandments. I don't believe the exodus happened the way it was written and the ten commandments most were take from the negative confessions from the Book of the Dead. You probably believe yhwh is the name for your God in a way. I believe if this is true this God was Ea, Enki, El all the same guy or possible yhwh stands for a family of God's the Supreme or high God's in the pantheon of Sumeria. It's a proven fact that the Israelites worshipped El, Asherah and Baal Hadad as well as other gods. The god that approached moses in the story said he was the god of the patriarchs which means he's El. -

I'm totally willing to learn the facts and the real truth as was really written. The thing is that there's a conspiracy to cover up the real writing I believe as well as mistraslations etc. One example is the early writing of Genesis it says 'God created the heavens and the earth'. Well the accurate translation is 'the gods created the sky and the earth'. Anyway my first post about early historians reporting that the Jews worshiped Helios, I stand by this and you can verify yourself, but yes when it comes to the Bible many things are written incorrectly. -

Another update I noticed in the bible at Nehemiah 8:17 that Joshua's father was named Nun. Well no big deal right, except that the father of Amen-Ra was the God Nun. Wasn't Jesus name in Aramaic also Joshua?
Revelation 3:14
14 “To the angel of the church in Laodicea write:
These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation.
Amen who?
And they call me Crazy!

I have hard copy of COC and a beautiful Book of the Dead. Wife doesn't know about the first one. Funny thing is no demons, I mean I have had COC for a few years now and got the Book of the Dead a few months ago and still no demons. What's a guy got to do to get some damn demons in his house?! -

Feel like a new fire has been lit
by The_Doctor10 ini've spent the last 6 months or so really in depth into ttatt, really angry at times, cursing the cult that is the wts led by the fds, and today i feel like i've found a new fire.
i'd been completely opposed to listening to anything to do with the organization, but today i watched the brie video on youtube, young high school girl pouring her heart out in opposition of the wts and its practices.. from there, i found jwstruggle on youtube, johncedars, and derekohare... it's just a wonderful thing finding people willing to out the wts for what it is.
i had felt such anger, like, they're getting away with their bologna, but to see people like this making stands against the wts is an amazing source of hope.. besides forums such as this, what have you found that helped you?.

For me at first was to gain a huge amount of Bible knowledge so I could blow up much of thier doctrine using just the Bible. More insights came later as I discovered the Bible itself is not what we were taught. It's still difficult though that know one in my family will listen to me as yet. -

Did Jehovah really order the excution of men, women, and children in the land of Canaan?
by John Aquila ini been researching information on why the the conquest of canaan could not be a real historical account.
i found this on barts blog:.
when considering the historicity of the narratives of joshua, the first thing to re-emphasize is that these are not accounts written by eyewitnesses or by anyone who knew an eyewitness.

Calibinflorida, no I did not realize some Jews knew these stories were not thier own. The ones I have spoken too seam to believe the old testament was about them and thier special place in history. Thanks for the insite. -

As for the book of Daniel, look at the oldest Bible ever written the septuigent in there you'll find that there's missing writings not included in the newer Bibles and there's also the story of Bel and the Dragon. Read these and then tell me this is not more stuff written about old Sumerian mythology. -

Has any apostate ever lied at a JC about being apostate?
by purrpurr ini watched/ listened to the brave and courageous souls on youtube who bravely recorded their jc's.
you really see a different and horrid side to the elders there.
it might sound whimpy but i don't think i would be able to stand strong like those guys did.

I no longer believe the Bible to be the word of God but I have a way better understanding of what the new testament writers were going for. And I can tell you in all certainty it's the elders that are the apostates.
