  yesterday in kansas city, we experienced the largest outbreak of tornadoes in over 20 years.

  i am concerned about other members of this forum in the kansas and missouri areas.

  did the twisters cause you any damage or heartache?

  Hands up those who don't give a rats arse about religion / spirituality.

  is it just me, or there others who have no room for religion in their lives?.

  i appreciate that others are entitled to their beliefs and opinions concerning such beliefs, but i am amazed at the number of posters, who, after years of being oppressed and mislead by religion, still manage to garner some sense from the whole notion of god / religion / spirituality.. cheeses the cynic.

  Big Hand up for religion - it can get stuffed!!!

  Spirituality - well I still believe in a Creator, whether it be named Jehovah or whatever, i refer to 'Him' by Creator - but, the Creator I believe would not want to be associated with JWs, as He is loving and kind.

  But as far as religion - never ever again will I ever associate with a religion of any kind - it makes me feel physically sick!!!!!!

  Thats my view anyway for what it is worth.

  Well I was a good JW, tried to do things correctly, and to be pleasing in the sight of Jehovah!!

  As long as the hours went in every month (and I made sure of that), and the family were all at the meetings on a regular basis and studied, and participating - we thought that would make Jehovah happy, and the elders.

  But, it was all to no avail - JWs still treat you like something you just trod in - Mr NW had major surgery - no blood - the first in the western hemisphere!! so what?!

  Slowly but surely the children slipped away, (the two eldest) and still we were trying to keep up the standards - then NW did not slip away he turned away - no mistaking - so the two younger ones followed - and then me - I still tried to be the good little JW - but I was so unhappy - no one cared and then I turned my back on the lot of them - and now we are all happy - roll on the next birthday, or whatever - all I know Jehovah is a loving creator, and I am sure that he did not want 'His' 'people' to be so damned unhappy, and be like robots - where is the freedom of choice?

  That is another of my ten pence worth of moaning LOL

  Proud of my Sister

  as you are probably aware i have two sisters, one we will call the b*tch jw who is self righteous and feels that she has a one way ticket to everlasting life (but in the meantime will sponge off others and be nasty and selfish) and then the other one who is not a jw and is absolutely wonderfull.. well...............she has finished her demo tape this last week and i got my copy via e mail, she has written her own album and sung it all, she sounds wonderfull.

  one of the songs is being forwarded to record agencies all over the uk and aus and she also has a audition on pop idol later this year.. i know this may not be of interest to you, but i just wanted to post this as i am so proud of her, i would love to post the song on here but due to a big fat (c) on it i cant and if made publically availiable who is gonna want to buy it if it is released.. anyway, ta for reading.

  my diswasher broke

  on top of everything else today, my dishwasher broke down.

  it won't pump out the water.

  I know the feeling. Its like having a nightmare!!!!

  Like when the washing machine decides to break down and you have a pile of laundry ggrrrhh.

  I agree with the paper plates....hehehehe

  Or just eat out - saves all the problems then.

  ps. I hope the elders visit goes ok - why do men tell us women to be 'quiet' - we should be allowed some fun from time to time...LOL

  My nasty B*tch of a Sister

  grrrrrr need to vent !.

  ok of my two step sisters the one who was punched in the mouth for not going to the meeting and left the "truth" me and her get on so well and i love her to bits.

  the other one is a jw and a nasty b*tch, she lives with her non jw mum in preperation for moving to los angeles in september.. non jw sister called me the other day to say that she has an audition for pop idol and she has produced a song to be sent to record companies, i am proud of her and know someone at a record company so i am going to e mail the song to her, but needed to call sisters mum to ask her to e mail it to me, we get on well so no probs there, when i called jw sis answers the phone, not recognising my voice passes me on to her mother, we have a little chat and she says "its matt on the phone, you wanna speak to him" answer a big firm "no", this girl has only ever sponged off me, last time she spoke to me was to ask me for money, when i said no that was it, no more contact !
