Much needed, especially now with the org promised the $700 million from Jared. I bet this won't make any news on JW.org news site. And when they finally get the money from the sale they won't put the missionaries back into the field, nor will they disclose how the money will be spent. Well maybe, just maybe they'll give a vague one liner about how they will put it to good use on much needed maintenance on buildings globally and KH construction.

Yeah, right. Go get' em Jeff.

I just hope the 'faithful and discreet slave' continues to print such articles like this. It will wake up more people. Simple and plain. When I first looked at this article I really didn't get it. But then I read the comments and wow, then I got it. So not everyone thinks the same. There are 8 billion people on the planet, and when they print an article, it is available for ALL to see, and the light bulb goes on. They really don't know what they are printing.

Prince died from overdose?

i just saw where the emergency landing that prince made several days ago in moline was due to an opiate overdose.

this came from tmz and sounded pretty credible.

if true, just curious if he would still be given a jw funeral, if that is what he wanted..

But no doubt even though this has nothing to do with any of this, the WT will cash in on his donation money if he has them in his will. What I mean to say is that, if it's found out that he was abusing some prescription drug or something and in the JW's eyes that's a bad thing, the org will still cash Prince's check if he put the WT in his will, no doubt.

A PARISHIONER arriving at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Berrimah crashed through two church walls, missing occupants waiting for a service to start.

The 78-year-old female driver was taken to hospital with cuts and bruises. Police believed she may also be suffering from shock.

Duty Superintendent Louise Jorgensen said police were called to the church on Vanderlin Drive, which is less than a kilometre from the Peter McAuley Centre, at around 3.30pm.

“She was arriving for the 4pm afternoon service about 30 minutes early,” Supt Jorgensen said. “It appears the woman mistook the accelerator for the brake and crashed through the walls.

“Luckily given the time of the day and how early she was, there was only about 10 people inside when normally there would have been many more.

“We are not expecting to prosecute as a result of the accident, however we will be liaising with authorities in regards to the license.”

When a crime is commited?

i responded to someone on another thread, but would love to know this answer.. if a victim adult or child goes to elders and claims they were abused, don't they have to have clergy confidentiality?

so i was told that they encourage the victim to contact authorities , and they contact bethel, but arent there hands tied if the victim does not want to go to authorities?

an elder made the comment to me once.

The elders should already know if they are in a U.S. state which has mandatory reporting laws. If they are really shepherds then they ought to know. But they really don't care that much about that to be honest.

Yeah, that's funny flipper. The young man says he doesn't trust everything he reads on the internet. But that doesn't mean he has to discard everything, some things are true then are they not? But to him everything is false. He's so blind.

Proclaimers Book claims anyone can leave the org

was going through proclaimers book and found this little nugget on page 232. there is so much wrong with this paragraph that my head almost exploded when i read it.. however, i was thinking, perhaps those like me that are trying to fade away without "trouble", can use this in the case that an elder should start questioning with intent of escalating matters.
