has anyone on the board been at the recent meeting where they are asking for more money to help out the co's, insurance and health and travel??

this is supposed to go into a general fund???

they can use it for anything they want..... oh, and also, if you can give more, it would help as many congregations may not be able to give - based on number of pubs in each cong.

We just had or CO visit last we and the CO said, "can we be like Barnabas? Can we be generous? We you make a check out, please don't indicate where you want the funds to go, just make it out the the world wide work."

I can't tell you how this comforts me to know that there is someone in the victims corner. The Watchtower certainly isn't. So with Artemis here it is like the U.S. law firm Zalkin, they have a place they can go to in the aftermath of it all at least.

I hope Watchtower gets kicked in the pants real hard with the $$ on this one big time!

i talked to a close friend that served with me as an elder for a few years.

he allowed me about an hour to explain why 607 is not the correct date for the destruction of ancient jerusalem.

i showed him all the scriptures needed and i showed him the wt magazines that proved it.
