but it is time for me to sign off.. i did want you all to read stupid77 post, but i guess you all missed it.

I feel vindicated

i recently discovered that it wasn't me after all, and that some people are just jerks.

i am at peace.

I am not talking about athiests of the world, I am talking about the spiteful atheists on these XJW boards, the smart alecks, and another group which I won't mention.

They love to slam christianity and bash it all day, but in reality they are no better, in fact they are worse.

These are the type of extremists that spam these boards with filthy pornography, spew their hateful crap, then have the audacity to whine and complain on other boards about how they were so mistreated, when in fact they were acting like buttholes from the beginning. Not only them, but those who cheered them on and mocked this board and its moderators, and especially Simon, the way they treated him was awful.

These are the types that are permeating the XJW forums. When someone dares to speak something contrary to their lifetsyle or heaven forbid someone try to 'edit' their speech.

There are plenty of extremists in this world, but these are the ones who I am talking about.

I could probably name 2 dozen names, and probably a hundred more that back them, but I won't.

It was refreshing to visit with the few JW's last weekend at the funeral home. It was great to have just normal conversation, where people actually talked with you, discussed jobs, discussed the economy, the gas prices, etc etc etc.

If it weren't for the fact that I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Watchtower is a lying organization, I would probably question whether I was fighting on the wrong side of the fence.

Amanda, yes I believe what you are saying. It took me to the point of figuratively beating my head against a brick wall, but this past weekend in Ohio, plus JWD coming to a close, made me re think some things. By the way, I am heading out to Ohio again today for vacation.

Questions about Alpha Males

randy's thread got me thinking about those considered 'alpha males'.. i have never personally met a jw male who i would consider 'alpha'..... come to think of it i really haven't met any man that would fit that description.

maybe male and female views differ.. what are some of the traits of jw alpha males?

how do they compare to their worldly counterparts?.

Some really friendly witnesses

i never thought i would ever say anything positive about jw's, but after attending a funeral last week, i must say they were some of the friendliest people i have seen in quite awhile, luckily for me, i already know their religion is a lying croc, but still i was treated with the utmost respect.

just something a little positive to share, to balance out the negative.

I don't have time to elaborate now, but all I can say is I was treated with the utmost respect, wasn't harassed, belittled, snubbed, or anything else. In fact it was just the opposite. It was quite refereshing to hold meaningful conversation with decent people.

Not me, I questioned "Mother" every step of the way. "Mother" was just too good at covering up the lies, for a while at least.
