I would be honored to run with her, but I first must start at the bottom, and i have some work cut out for me. I have not completely ruled out running, but I still have some things to take care of.

Politics seems to be my passion right now and maybe a more constructive way to spend my time. -

KM: Wrong Jesus, wrong for all eternity...
by White Dove ini just read keith mcgregor's site and found this saying: "if you have the right jesus, you are right for all eternity.
if you have the wrong jesus, you are wrong for all eternity.".
i just see something wrong about that whole premise.

Why the hey did we not WALK away in 1995?? the gen. thing
by oompa ini remember arguing with a bethel elder friend of mine during a long ride to an assembly about the"new light" in 1995....that the generation of 1914 is not the "this generation" that jesus referred to: .
(luke21:32)32 truly i say to you, this generation will by no means pass away until all things occur.
yep....pretty damm simple to me for 45 years...the generation that sees all the "signs" will not die before armageddon....thus we honest hearted ones pleaded with our back calls, or return visits to study with us before it is too late!....the time is soooo short, cause these 1914 folk are gettin damm old!....hurry in and be saved!.

It only took me about 5 minutes to process it before I realized we had been duped.

USA AUTO MAKERS SCAPEGOAT?
by Sunnygal41 inwierd thought?
even though i haven't been following it closely, it seems to me that everyone is demonizing them, and i just wonder whether they are really just a convenient scapegoat for our anger from long repressed feelings of powerlessness.
yes, for the past eight years, most of us, in one way or another felt powerless over our daily lives in the usa.

Not so fast, the Dems aren't very enthusiastic about bailing out the auto industry. While I can see the Repulicans being against the bailout, why in the world aren't the Dems doing more for the auto industry, after all they relied heavily on Michigan and Ohio this election. Ohio never would have voted Obama had it not been for the jobs issue.
And why the heck was Nascar bailed out? I wasn't aware they were having financial troubles.
This country definitely has its priorities wrong. -

What is the best state to live in in America?
by oompa inesp.
interested to hear from any who have traveled or moved around a bunch....i am talking climate, nearness to mountains or beach or both, cost of living, etc.....as much as i love what california has to offer naturewise, the natural disasters and cost of living there bum me out....since i like mountains and beach, a climate a little less hot than florida.... i lean toward virginia straight south down through georgia, so both carolinas too.
maybe maryland too, but the further north you go, the colder the water and worse the winter, but still the new england coastal states are incredible........oompa.

Kentucky--The cost of living is affordable, the people are friendly, and the winters aren't too bad either. Violent crime is low, and people still stop to help other people.

U.S. Auto Industry deserves the grave they dug for themselves
by drew sagan ini don't know how the folks here feel about u.s. automakers (aka the 'big three').
nevertheless, right now there is a 'bailout' on the table for these folks who seem to have run what were potentially viable companies right into the toilet.
there is an article over at boing boing that i just had to share.

Cars have too much crap on them these days, they need to start making them more affordable and get rid of all the unnecessary gadgets. They need to offer a choice for both budget and luxury buyers. Over half the gadgets on my car are not needed.
We have become a greedy society that values gadgets and keeping up with the Jones's.
If people can't afford to buy the cars that are coming off the line, then trim the fat so to speak.
