  20 From the very outset of his rebellion Satan called into question God’s way of doing things. He promoted independent thinking. ‘You can decide for yourself what is good and bad,’ Satan told Eve. ‘You don’t have to listen to God. He is not really telling you the truth.’ (Genesis 3:1-5) To this day, it has been Satan’s subtle design to infect God’s people with this type of thinking.—2 Timothy 3:1, 13.

  21 How is such independent thinking manifested? A common way is by questioning the counsel that is provided by God’s visible organization.

  Moving out, away and starting a new post JW life

  recently at my last meeting, an older brother "in good standing" got disfellowshipped.. sitting only two seats away from him, i saw as he burst into tears as lifelong friends and family began their shunning and immediate gossip in the form of whispers came up from above the brothers and sisters in the kingdom hall.

  i felt like giving him a hug and telling him that it was going to be okay and that whatever the reason for his disfellowshipment was, it didnt matter and that god still loved him but before i could muscle up enough courage to do so, he stood up in tears and left.. i shed a few silent tears for him.

  i didn't see anyone else do the same.. it was at that moment that i realized without a doubt that living this way is just not worth it at all.. so i've thought about it long and hard and now i just want to move far away and just start new again.

  as the date setting business for armageddon gulibles has a limited financial future due to expectation postponed syndrone, what could be a possible scenerio as membership stagnates and then nose dives?

  what happens when they're left with this inevitable forecasting dilema?

  will the governing body commission huge blowout sales of kingdom halls telling the r&f that armageddon is so close that they can all meet in their homes and sell their khs sending the money to the corporation to use as they see fit?.

  hi!.

  been reading this forum for 2 years and this site has been great help for me.. currently my situation is difficult, im slowly fading and trying to make new friends outside jw.. i fear of losing many friends and family members, but i know that some point i just have to do it, its my life not theirs.. havent attendet meetings for 2 years now, life is better and instead waiting armageddon, im planning future to myself.

  i will tell more about my situations when im ready for it.... .

  Should I send this letter to my non-JW cousin who refuses to listen to ANY criticism of our JW relatives?
