recently i removed a link to a copy of ray franz's book crisis of conscience.
it has been and continues to be the policy of jwd/jwn to not post download links to this book unless they are from http://www.commentarypress.com, ray franz' publishing company.. i wrote ray about the illegal posting of his work on the internet and have received a reply from him this morning.
i won't quote his entire email but will use the pertaining parts.
Ray is a generous caring soul.
We once ordered CoC and sent extra money for Ray's personal use.
Would you believe he sent extra books to cover the difference.
We donated them to various libraries.

so my husband rarely talks to his sister and never talks to his mom.
his sister, brother in law and mom will have nothing to do with me because 10 years ago when i left the jws they heard rummors (gossip) that i was apostate.. husband is totally apostate too by their standards but they ignore what they don't want to see.
he celebrates all the holidays, goes to church, celebrates birthdays and bad mouths the wts all the time.. well sister in law calls this morning and he is on the phone with her for one hour.
One of the things I love about him is he is kind and tender hearted.
I think you solved the problem yourself.

I have one like that. He is kind and tender-hearted to me and his family and everybody else.
Perhaps your husband would like a wife who was also kind and tender-hearted.
And perhaps you are.

My husband and I came out together so I cant give advice from personal experience.
However from what others have said, it seems that slow, very, very slow, usually works best.

for anyone who read through my previous thread concerning the conflict my wife and i had over my coming to this forum will recall that my wife agreed to go with me to the library to research 607 b.c.e.. well, unfornately my daughter and i got sick over the weekend so we could not make that trip.
however, my wife did do some research in her wt publications and on the internet!
frankly, i was surprised she even went to the internet but i told her that to 'stay away' from 'apostate' sites all she had to do was google 'babylonian captivity' and see what comes up.

It is an interesting exercise to google:
Jerusalem 586
and
Jersualem 607
That way you can see all the encyclopedias that agree with 586/7.
It seemed to me that the only ones that mention 607 are in someway connected with Witnesses.
