  GERMAN JWS DURING WWII

  i saw the documentary secret lives: hidden children and their rescuers during wwii.

  i was really touched by the stories of survival and the courage shown by lot of german families, as well as polish, french, etc, who hid jewish children during the war, even when they knew they could suffer the same fate as the jews if caught.

  many times in the watchtower we read stories of german jws who were sent to concentration camps.....but they only went because they were jws, not because they risked their lives in order to save jews.

  Children preaching in the freezing rain.

  a long time ago,on cold and rainy halloween, while i was still in the borg, i was waiting for my husband in a corner, and remember watching parents and their little children in their halloween customs going from store to store collecting candy.

  i thought that the parents were absolut morons.

  now that i'm out, i think, the jws parents are also morons.

At least I had some comon sense even in the borg.

  I like to read your questions, keep them coming.

  The answer to this questions is, in my case, no I'm not happy. If I was single and younger, maybe I would be able to re-arrange my life over. But now, it's too late. At least, it's late if I intend to keep the peace in my home. My husband married me when we both were in the borg., and he thinks of me as this little goody-too-shoes that doesn't kill a fly. Eventhough we are no longer JW's, he still holds very dear many of the ideals of the so called "thruth". I cannot be as independent as I would like to be.

  Jealousy

  does anyone have a problem with this, or have a problem with their mates being like this.

  how do you know when your mate is cheating and when is it enough?

  I think I've become less jealous over the years. I used to ALWAYS feel threatened by other "better" looking women. I couldn't resist it when my man looked at another woman, it drove me nuts. I felt he literally WANTED her, otherwise, why would he constanly throw a quick glance at the woman in question. I know I am right, men look at women when they find them attractive. But you know what? Men and woman, will ALWAYS look at the other gender, it is natural. But sometimes, men and woman, don't only look, they follow through with their desires. Does that mean they don't love their respective spouses? I really don't know.....like the song says, " I really don't know love at all".

  I think that no matter how jealous you are and how careful you are to check on your partner, your partner will always find a way to cheat on you if he or she wants to. I know about these thinks. One case I know about, the husband goes out to the grocery store for maybe 20 minutes, but he really goes to a prostitute for a 3 minitue BJ. Another case, the man is married, the only one working in the household, he's wife stays home, she has control of all the money he makes, so he cannot spend a dime on any woman. Guess what? There are women out there willing to have sex with him at any time, the women even pay for the hotel room and all. His wife is home thinking he's the perfect husband.

  I think the woman is nuts. She should have used the kitchen sink in the first place. The tub is way too much for a one year old.

  some of you know that we live way out in the country, deep in the woods of northern mn.

  one of the great things out here is the abundant wildlife that we see everyday.

  last week we had a huge porcupine in the yard (which our four year old calls a hamster.....lol).

  Musically speaking, I like Britney...(I'm not saying she's the more talented)...I mean, her songs are more catchy to my ears. Physically speaking, I think Britney's got it all. Beyonce's got way too much cellulite.

  I hate the fact that I couldn't participate in after school activities.

  I hated it when kids came to school the next day and talked about all the fun they had in practice, sports, cheerleaders, theatre, dancing, where-have-you. It just pissed me off when, on top of that, my mom would get on my back telling me I should make plans to go out preaching with some nice young pioneer because they need encouragement, etc. I think I hate her more for allowing the WTS to tell her what her children could or couldn't do.
