  question about "talking" to JW concer...

  i've been dating a jw for almost 3 1/2 years - about a month ago i found out that 3 elders from my boyfriend's kingdom hall we're going to have a meeting with my boyfriend about dating me.

  when i asked why this meeting was going to take place, my boyfriend said that it was because he was dating someone who isn't a jehovah's witness.

  this really hurt me, and it hurt even more when i found out that they had already talked to him once before, and he did not tell me about it.

  A Physicist's view of the WT future

  just a little experience i had this week.

  we recently found a local learning center comprised of amateur scientist and professionals who meet regular to share new ideas and to conduct classes and group discussions.

  yesterday i spoke with the president of the learning center who is 75 years old retired physicist.

  overcome by emotion as a parent.......

  this afternoon i was sitting in my kitchen watching my three year old son playing.

  he was humming to himself while playing w/trucks.

  i watched his little hands as they moved the toys around, i listened to his sweet little voice.

  in fact we had a long discussion last night, but i'll save that for another topic.

  i was just reading a post about jws formerly celebrating christmas.

  JW's a FRUSTRATED people?

  we know that the wt portrays the jw's as a "happy" people.

  the wt would have the world believe that the wt organization as a whole is a "happy" organization.

  yet somehow they still believe that jw's are a "happy" people.

  it appears as if this is a haven for those who hate the jehovah's witnesses.

  if that is too tough of a stance, then this place is a haven for those who hate the governing body of jehovah's witnesses.

  many are apostates.

  Catholic Church heading for BANKRUPTCY?

  if the catholic church does go bankrupt, what would that mean for the jw doctrine of the 'destruction of babylon the great'?

  especially considering that the catholic church makes up an enormous percentage of "babylon the great" and that the catholic church has received the brunt of jw castigation over the years... .

  if sexual abuse scandal could bankrupt the catholic church with all its great wealth, what could sexual abuse scandal do to the far less wealthy wt society?
