I almost feel insulted that an elder felt obligated to do repairs in a KH, out of his own time and money, because with the new funding arrangement he didn't think the repairs would be done fast enough. Yup he figured the money was gone not only for the repair but also for the unnecessary refurb that was scheduled, but has now suddenly been postponed. All the while they are making bloody purchases like this. It will be interesting to see the spin and justification they can give the R&F on this. Very very silly move WT.

So who's name is on the title. I know the WT has done some stupid things in the past, but purchasing that would be taking stupidity to a whole new level. I wonder what an ex life time Bethelite would think about that purchase who is now living in a trailer park in the new mexico desert.

Whats with TROLLS posting on this forum ,dont they just expose themselves as less than intelligent?

i mean to say it only takes a couple of posts to identify a troll , what do they hope to acheive ?

they only convince me, how stupid they are, with not a thinking cell in their brain .. do they think its another avenue to get fs hours in ?

do they think their going to convince one of us to go back to the kh.?

Like I said previously. Just cut the BS just be open about who you are. If your a hard out JW or apostate I'm not really bothered either way, and it certainly ain't going to change the answer I give. In fact I think it would be fantastic if more sincere JW could come here and openly debate. I've got nothing to lose.

New to The Jehovahs Witness Faith and need some help

hello there i am new to the faith and have been studying for about a month.

i am very excited and hungry for the truth and have not missed a meeting or study since the memorial.

we do about 2 bible studies a week.

What I cant understand is why someone would want to hide who they are. Why not just come out and say I'm an active witness and I want to talk about such and such a topic. I'm pretty sure the answer I'm going to give isn't going to change regardless of which side of the line she/he stands on with REGUARD to TTATT. Why play games, my mind is made up and nothing is going to change it. In fact I think it would be great if more witnesses came on here and were open about who they were. To be honest I couldn't really care who they were provided they treated me with kindness and respect.

I walked out of the Hall about a year ago after knowing TTATT for about a year before that. Trust me I'm having a hell of a time trying to readjust. The military and the witnesses don't mix, and if you choose to follow through with the religion will put the relationship between you and your husband under greater strain. Trust me.

I believe I'm the record holder for travel distance to a convention

well it was announced the other night that the new convention venue will be about a twenty hour drive away.

in that 20 hours will include at least 3 hour boat ride.

i'm guessing the cost of the boat ride + the cost of fuel would probably be about $us800 - $us 900. that wouldn't include the loss of wages for the 4 days just to get there and return.

Village girl= I'm not going. Its almost been a year since I walked out. I thought making people travel at least one and a half times the length of the country just really unreasonable.

It is something I have wondered about just to the spying activity that must be carried out by WTBTS. It would be pure bad management on their part to not know what was going on behind the scenes. So Wt if you end up reading this "I'm glad you could join us".
