I don’t think HQ would be brave enough to put it in writing, discouraging zoom.

Confirmed: CO Discourages Zoom
by XBEHERE ini can confirm that the co during one of his service talks stated that zoom is a provision for elderly, infirmed, as well as people who might need it on occasion due to health reasons, otherwise you are expected to be in person at meetings and in the ministry.
this had to come down from the top.
maybe they do not want to put it in a gb update or broadcast since that would be too public i suppose.

Although I still hold onto the Christian ethos. I’m so glad that I left the nonsense of the JWs a decade ago. I think were many trip up when leaving the JWs, particularly the youth. Is in visioning greater freedom out side of the JWs, only to be entrapped in another form slavery in secularisation. I think the reasons for leaving the JWs can affect how well you’ll do on the outside. I left not for secularisation in itself but rather a vote of no confidence of 8 guys in New York. Hence I mostly avoided the pitfalls. The best advice I give for those considering leaving, particularly if they are young. Is “the body is a temple, and is to be kept clean. Remember that and you will do well. Don’t, and you’ll get yourself into a world of hurting. I have a cousin who ignored this. He’s now living under a bridge addicted to Meth. Tbh even though as a JW he was a narcissistic little prick, he probably would have been better off if he had stayed.

Yes I agree, it’s more about the control. It hard to monitor someone when you don’t know where they are, or what they get up to. This is the problem they have and I can’t really see them going totally on line.

What is "the UK’s LARGEST GROWING consumer goods sector?"
by BoogerMan inwould you have guessed it's vaping?.
apparently kids can buy vapes in the uk - with very little/zero deterrents for retailers.
follow the money!.

In the country I live in there are more vape shops than McDonalds, KFC, and BK combined. Heard that on the radio the other night.
For the country I live in. Methamphetamine seizures by police were up 1,400% from 12 months ago.
For the country I live in Cocain has a street value four times that of its value in America. We are the 3rd highest priced market for Cocain in the world. It’s understandable cartels are breaking their necks to supply the market here.
We are also the 3rd fattest nation in the world.
Trust me it’s not something I’m proud of.

How did you pass the time when the Kingdom Hall meetings became boring and repetitive/
by RULES & REGULATIONS inanother boring and repetitive ''watchtower study.
'' all the articles are about the ''faithful and discreet slave.''.
for whatever reason, you tolerate this for years.

I found giving blood to be particularly therapeutic in dealing with my JWisim. It was an outward sign of me closing the door in that chapter of my life. Id recommend it.

If I was a young JW in my mid 20s. I’d be asking myself the question as to how I’m going to meet members of the opposite sex. Can’t date until your a MS, with few opportunities given by the borg. It ain’t looking favourable.

PROOF Mormons have the truth
by neat blue dog indaniel prophesied that god would “set up a kingdom” that would “never be destroyed” and would “stand for ever” (daniel 2:44).
in making this prophecy, he spoke of the church of jesus christ of latter-day saints... and it will continue to progress until it has “filled the whole earth”... hundreds of thousands of people are baptized every year.
the book of mormon is being translated in many languages.

Pink of nice: I absolutely agree that these extravagant temples are been built. With no one in them. This has become criticism of the church of late. One example is of a temple that is been built in a neighbouring city from where I live.
